Fellowship Project: Blog Posting
After you watch the video and read the study notes below, answer these questions here:
Thinking of Heaven as being established compared to the Earth where you don’t know what to expect daily, how does that make you want to be effective while you are on the Earth?
When God speaks it’s the absolute truth. He doesn’t go back on His Word. Do you believe what you read in the Bible? Do you believe God will come through despite what you see happening around you? Why or why not?
What would you do tomorrow if you knew you couldn't fail?” It's all based on Second Peter.
DISCUSS:
1. How do you see God? Is it based on your Heavenly Father or by your earthly fathers’ example? Would that be different if you didn’t have a good relationship with your father here on earth? Does that change how you view God?
2. God does not change because He is perfect. If you are not perfect, then there will be transformation and change in your life. We are migrating towards perfection. Even though we haven’t reached perfection, we're learning more about God. Our character and personality are constantly changing in Him.
3. DISCUSS: Jesus said it was finished, and when it’s done, it’s done. Jesus was announcing that it was complete; His sacrifice, everything He had suffered up to that point, was enough to complete that process. He said, "It is finished." The word in Greek is Tetelestai, which means “Paid in full.” All your sins are forgiven. It is finished.
You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past.
—Psalm 139:5 TPT
DISCUSSION:
He is already in your future. What would it be like if you got the revelation that Jesus was standing in your future and that He's already planned everything? When Peter was asked to come to Jesus on the water, Peter wanted Jesus to prove to him that He was who He said He was. When Jesus gave him the command, Peter got out of the boat, and he was able to walk on water like Jesus. Jesus was essentially standing at Peter's destination and what would become his future. It was as though Peter was walking towards his future destination. Peter was told to come to Jesus, but it was like He was saying, “Walk to me, walk to your future.” When God tells you to do something, He’s leading you, and He’s already standing in your future. He already knows what will happen tomorrow, and He knows how we can prevent certain things from happening. In Heaven I found out that if we don’t do something today about tomorrow, then tomorrow might not be God’s perfect will that happens for you. God tries to come into our lives. He tries to gain more access points to change your routing or destination because He’s standing where He wants you to go.
Because you have free will, He’s not permitted or allowed to make you do anything. We see examples of this throughout the Bible, but it’s not being taught. God offered the alternative, but He didn’t make people do it. We were made like Him, in His image, and God has free will. What makes Him God is that He so loved us that He sent His only Son and did that as a choice, but He didn’t have to do that. He could’ve said to Peter, “No, I’m not coming to you.” Peter could not have encountered what he did. Jesus could’ve said, “No, I’ll just stay in the boat. You can come to me.” That’s what people do to Jesus all the time. They expect Jesus or God to perform in their lives, but they don’t want to in any way engage with God in a relationship by faith.
Are you going to move to where Jesus is standing, in your future, where your destiny is, or are you going to stay where you are?
HE DOESN’T CHANGE
Hebrews 13:8 TPT: Jesus, the Anointed One, is always the same — yesterday, today, and forever.
• In Psalm 139:5 and Hebrews 13:8, we get this idea that God is in a timeless realm, but what I saw in Heaven was that there were no clocks or calendars on the wall. There was just God's Word.
• What He had spoken was His calendar.
• Who He was as a person was a clock, and His calendar was what He had said.
• Everything He said was already marked out and framed and who He was as a person.
• He was not going to change. He had already established everything.
• That's very hard for us to understand down here because it seems like our life, at times, can be random.
• The current events you see happening every day seem random, and you don’t know what will happen today. Maybe it’s today. Maybe it’s tomorrow. Maybe it’s going to be a good day. Maybe it’s not.
• Even the weather is changing all the time. People change. Situations change, but in Heaven, it's not like that at all.
• You must realize your life is bound by things here in this earthly realm that isn't going on in Heaven at all.
• There is no calendar or clock in Heaven. There's only God as a person and His Word; that's it. Everything is already established. Every angel in Heaven already knows what they're supposed to do. They know what God's will is.
• When they come down here, they're dealing with a broken, fallen world and with a broken, fallen man.
• They’re looking for the redeemed ones. In the spirit, the angels know who they are because they’re marked, and they glow. • People glow in the dark when they are a child of God.
• When God moves on a person, it lights up the whole area and the whole neighborhood.
• When God is touching a person, their spirit starts to ignite. In your Warrior Fellowship, wherever you are, God is moving, and as I'm talking to you, your spirit is beginning to light up inside from hearing the Word of God.
• Then it spreads to each person, and before you know it, if you look on a map, your whole neighborhood is lit up with the power of God.
• It's all because a group of people came together and agreed on who God is as a person.
• They also agreed on His Word, and it caused God to be in the midst. From that point on, calendars and clocks don't matter anymore. When you listen to the Word of God from people who are speaking from the Spirit, it shifts the atmosphere.
• I'm praying that many mighty ministers will rise up and start speaking from the Spirit. That's why it seems like there's no time.
• You can sit for 2 hours, and you forget about the time, and you don't know why. Whereas I've been in places where I couldn't last 15 minutes at a church, and I'm ready to go. I'm already prepared to order my food for my next meal.
