Are You Stuck?

DISCUSSION:
The Lord addressed this topic of feeling trapped in a store where you go in and can't find your way out. You came in a door, but the store didn't have any windows, and you feel stuck in there forever like you can’t get out. The Lord showed me the Earth is kind of like that in the physical realm. Before I was a Christian, it was hard not having the Spirit of God or the Word of God or revelation. It was hard, but it seems harder to me now that I'm a Christian. Now that my eyes are open, I see how this earth is rigged against you. The whole system is like a boat anchor, and it wants to slow you down.

Imagine being in a store and then never being able to find a door, suddenly, all the joy about shopping is gone because you're stuck. That's what happened when the Lord showed me this. The earth is like that. I thought it would get easier as a Christian, and in many ways, it's better and has its benefits. The only thing is that once you know something, you can never take it back, and you have to operate in that wisdom or knowledge, and if you don't, it's just going to be worse for you.

Imagine your eyes being open spiritually and knowing what's happening around you, yet you have to stay here and put up with the drama. Think about all the drama that goes on. We have to do something profitable instead of just wasting time. We need to get the revelation that the Apostle Paul was talking about being in Him because we live way below where we should be, and we’re limited because we're looking at this earth realm.

BE OF GOOD CHEER
Jesus said, “I've overcome the world. Be of good cheer.” He said, “You're going to have trouble in this world. “He didn't say He was going to take us out of it. He said that He had overcome the world” (John 16:33). Jesus is in Heaven now, and God is a spirit. Those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24). We're only stuck down here physically, but we're not stuck down here spiritually because we live forever. I've already met Jesus in person. He said, “I've never once limited you. There's nobody up here that's limiting you. No one doubts you. Every angel that's ever been sent to help you never thought they were going to fail. The Holy Spirit inside of you never once thought you would fail at anything that was written about you.”

It shocked me that my mindset had been formed by living down here and that I was stuck in a store without windows and doors when I was actually free inside. That's why the Apostle Paul could preach and write the letters he did. You would never know that what he wrote was from jail. He didn't write from his circumstance; He wrote from his revelation.

I saw the river of life. I saw what it says in Revelation 22. It talks about the river of life and how it flows continually out from the throne of God. I saw it go out of the city that's in the center and go out into paradise. I saw the water just running through there, and I thought that this water just kept going. I wondered where it went. The Lord said, “It goes off into the Earth realm and comes up through you, and through every believer, there are rivers of living water flowing through them. It’s from the throne. I couldn't see where it ended, but I got to go down to the river of life. Then I got to thinking, are we limited, or is it something that we just learn, because, with kids, you have to teach them to doubt. You have to teach them because they believe they can fly.

Do you believe you’ve been taught to doubt? How are you going to get to where you’re living in the freedom and the Spirit of God?

THE SPIRIT IS WILLING

“The Spirit of the Lord is always willing,” Jesus said this in the garden at His worst time, and He asked the disciples to stick with Him for just an hour to pray. The onslaught against Him spiritually was so intense that the disciples got washed out. They weren't able to sustain it. I remember Brother Hagen saying that the Lord told him, “At any one moment (and the Lord confirmed this to me as well), the Spirit of God is always ready to jump in, to pounce and get into your situation and correct it. At any one moment, the Spirit is always there. ”Jesus said in the garden at His worst time, “Can't you just pray with me for one hour.” He said that the Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak,” and this is the battleground. I remember thinking, if I came back, I knew that it would just be a matter of weeks before the spirit of this world had just washed me into compromise again.

I could see my whole life. I knew if I inserted myself back in and if I wasn’t on my game or sure of everything I had seen and heard in Heaven, I was done. Everything I had ever read in the Word of God if I wasn't confident of this very one thing that the Spirit is always willing, and always ready at any one moment, if I forgot that, then I was finished. Then Jesus said, you're going back. I remember Him telling me to approach my body. It was sucking me back to itself because the Lord said, you're going back. My spirit was being reattached to my body, and I was being sucked, like a big vacuum. I could feel myself being pulled from behind because I embraced Jesus, and I didn't want to leave Him. I remember telling myself as I turned around and saw the surgeon remove all the gauze and framework from my mouth from the operation, “Never forget the reality of what you just discerned because it's going to be a war for the rest of your life.” I remember being pulled back and waking up and seeing the lights above me. The surgeon was standing beside my body, and I was in my body, looking up through my eyes, and I tell myself, I can never forget this. I started to make reference points so that I would never forget that I'm not trapped down here, that this whole thing is rigged, and I'm just going to mess the devil up every day.

If you had this experience where you got to go and see the other side and were sent back, would you live differently? Ask God to show you.

1. Are you trapped, or is it the fact that you are discerning your circumstances based on this earthly realm?

2. Has the born-again experience caused you to communicate with God on His level? (If so, it will be by the Spirit of God, and the Spirit is always willing.)
