DISCUSSION:
You are destined to take out your giant. Every one of you wants to be successful at winning against the enemy. I know you want to accomplish everything in your heart and God's heart for His glory.
I saw in a dream, and it happened in real life, that an entity where I lived working in that area would manifest through different individuals. In that dream, I was fighting an individual that confronted me, and they jumped on me to try to hurt me. I was in middle school or junior high at the time. When I got off the bus in the dream, this individual was waiting for me and tried to hurt and beat me up.
I remember seeing everything accurately in that dream and how it would happen. I was not a Christian yet at the time. I remember the next day, as I got off the bus and walked across the bridge, the whole dream played out. Essentially, everything that happened in the dream happened in real life. It was as though the dream was a film. It was almost like a video that played the exact thing. I knew the next steps that were going to happen, and I was able to beat this guy who was trying to hurt me. He was a lot bigger than me. He was a towering giant, literally over six foot five. In junior high, that is very tall. He was swinging at me, and I knew what would happen next.
I was able to get out of the way and knock him out. I was five foot ten, and he was six foot five or six foot nine, or whatever it was that he was. I remember walking away from that, thinking that it was all planned. It was puzzling to me because I wasn't a Christian. I realized that this would happen, and people would challenge me.
This happened much more than I wanted, but I never lost a fight. There were always people challenging me, and I wasn't that person. I was very athletic and set records in my school in track and field, diving and swimming, and weight lifting. I didn't want to challenge anybody. I just kept to myself.
The dream showed me what was going to happen and that evil was against me, and that I was chosen. It's interesting that for many years after I had grown, I would continually dream about returning to school where I was still in class as though I hadn't graduated from high school.
I wondered, why am I having these dreams? I prayed about this, and the Lord showed me that it was time for me to let go of all those things and mature. It showed me that certain things were causing me to be stuck back there. It was like I hadn't graduated yet from high school, and I would wake up thinking, I've graduated with my Doctorate level, and I'm having dreams that I haven't graduated from high school yet, and I'm a Doctor of Theology. When I made an adjustment by seeking God and talking to Him about it, I stopped having those dreams.
Then, I would dream about that spot where that guy ambushed me. I said, "Lord, what are you trying to tell me?" I realized I was destined to take out that giant from that area. That was the giant in my life. That spirit bullies you, pushes you, and challenges you all the time. I went to war knowing I was destined to come against that spirit and do it on behalf of others as well. I stopped having that dream and having dreams about that spot in my neighborhood.
You're going through things, and whatever is challenging you is because God has destined you to take that giant out. King David, when he went to the battlefield, was sent there on an assignment to bring food to his brothers that were in the battle. They were in the army. I think it's interesting that David wasn't sent there to fight. He was sent there to replenish the sons of his father, his brothers. So when he got there, it all started to unfold to him that everybody had chickened out, and no one wanted to confront this giant. I know that he was pondering how Samuel had already anointed him as king, and he was anointed. It's interesting that David probably thought, this is my day of promotion when everyone will see that God has selected me to be king. Even though Samuel had already chosen him many years before, if you look it up, most scholars will say that from when David was anointed as King until he took his kingship was 17 years. There was a lot of preparation and what we would think of as delay.
I want to encourage you all over the world that what I saw from all this that I'm sharing with you through dreams and my whole life is that we are predestined to take out our giant. Whatever bothers us, we're destined to take it out.
Those demons are coming against you in certain ways because they know you've been assigned to take them out. It was interesting that David stepped right into it and took that giant out just like I did that day. After that, nobody messed with me anymore.
