Welcome to week 19 of the 2024 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic\/question. Week 19_2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have to say it’s coming\u2014a new me and a new you. The old is passing away, and the new is upon us. Whatever relations in the past did not work out or might have been better are made new in Jesus. In Him, all things exist and consist, and His mercies are new every morning. Submit, submit, submit to His will.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q<\/strong> ) What are some things that you’re going through right now that are pushing and pressuring you to make a decision? Maybe God wants to show you that there’s a reason you don’t fit in. It could be because you’re not supposed to fit in there, and you’re supposed to fit in with what God is saying from Heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have to say, I never fit in. I knew when I became a Christian that I would not fit in here as well. Honestly, I was frightened. I read through the Bible in a year. I listened to Christian Radio WMCA in NYC and heard dozens of sermons and discussions every week. I was so blessed and radically saved but afraid to attend church. It’s been like that since I was a child in all areas except with some in my immediate family and, at times, in grammar school<\/em>. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q<\/strong> ) What is the Lord telling you that you may need to trim down in your life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being hurt causes us to be defensive and can yield a spirit of pridefulness in order to gain self-esteem. Now, we are to proclaim the Gospel and have a command regarding what God has sacrificed His Son to give us\u2014wise as serpents but harmless as doves. What is wonderful is I see the Holy Spirit take over and apply that verse in my life even without my conscience’s effort. But when I have to remind myself, I know I’m taking control too much. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, I heard a prayer on Dr. Kevin’s YouTube channel asking us to surrender pride and ourselves 100%. I can definitely use that! I think I need to say that prayer every day. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q<\/strong> ) Do you feel like you’re in an aggressive race? Do you want to be noticed, or valued, or appreciated? How does God perfect you in His love?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only race I’m in is to share the Word of God. I have no self-ambition except to fulfill what God has created me to do: share the Gospel. I will do that until the day I breathe my last breath. God has given me so much joy. Life is a Pearl of Great Price, and God has given us Abundant Life. I do all I can to share that love. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q<\/strong> ) Are you going to do what God has called you to do and let Him blow on your sails in the direction that He tells you to go? What is He calling you to do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment<\/strong><\/a> here, email me, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
