Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week<\/a>.<\/a><\/strong> I urge you to share your comments using the Comment link<\/a><\/strong>. Please<\/em>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n satan is a liar and the father of lies. When he lies, he speaks his own language. You may find yourself thinking the worst about a situation regarding yourself, your day, your family, or your job. But it might all be a delusion created by the father of lies. As soon as that voice starts in your head, you need to tell satan about the burning lake of fire, the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, and the authority we have in His Name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Pushing buttons. What are your buttons? How did they get there in the first place? They were probably developed in your early childhood, and you were raised by loving parents, or perhaps not-so-loving ones. Whatever the case may be, it was most likely not intentional unless someone was really under demonic instructions and following suit on purpose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Think of a computer application. This will help us understand how a button is made. Well, you have a button on your phone. Whether it is an actual button on the side of the phone to increase the volume and turn on the screen, or a non-physical button, a program button that appears on the screen of the phone that you touch in order to activate a certain action. In either case, the button was designed for a function. You may have to assign a button to capture a screenshot of your computer screen using a program that tells you to hit a certain number of specific keys in a sequence, so that when they are pressed, a certain action takes place. If you’ve ever done anything like that, you’ve programmed the button yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Well, our emotional buttons were created in a manner along these lines in a much more complicated and repetitive way that gets you to perceive things a certain way, to keep going back to situations and circumstances long gone, and to keep you in a cycle of perhaps rejection, anger, hostility, whatever the case may be. It’s truly a satanic attack upon a personage. And Jesus has come to set the captives free and open the prison doors. I’ll Pace that scripture verse below, but let me just tell you the verse in the prophecy that says to open the prison doors, in our translations, is actually stating to open your eyes so you can see the prison doors were open all along. It’s just that you couldn’t see the doors open; you just thought they were there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n That’s a better translation of what’s actually in the original text. So we have to identify these buttons and make sure they are not pressed. We have to remove those buttons and replace them with God’s Truth. We have to be able to discern the voice of the Lord and the voice of the enemy. This is why I frequently mention on these blogs and posts: watch who speaks into your life. Watch out that people do not unintentionally speak curses against you instead of blessings. It could be a brother or a sister or anyone in Christ. Or it could be a family member or a secularist. Watch out! Do not just take information and ingest it without first filtering it through the Word of God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Luke 4:18<\/strong><\/a> BSB <\/p>\n\n\n Q<\/strong> ) 1 James 1:6 speaks about having confident, unwavering faith. How does being undecided cause you to be tossed around like a wave?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your Comment<\/strong><\/a>. Please<\/em>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have to be sure in our faith. We have to know that the Bible is the Word of God, and what God has to say is the final word. Well, God’s Word is truth and has established all that we see and know in the universe. But let me say, after saying that, that God did not create evil. Evil is the result of Lucifer choosing to rebel against God, which, in turn, as he tricked Eve into disobeying God, the dominion of the earth fell into the hands of satan, true to the deception. But now, being children of God through the Holy Spirit indwelling us, we have the authority in the name of Jesus, we’ve been washed by the blood of Jesus and made holy and pure, and we stand on the Rock that the foundations of this universe were created from. And We Are The Pinnacle of that creation made in the image of God, and now with the Holy Spirit, God Himself indwelling us. We have to take our place and know God works out all things together for good for those who love Him. So we cannot waiver in what we must believe is true and in the promise in favor of God for our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n Q<\/strong> ) 2 Humans are comprised of three parts: spirit, soul, and body. Which parts can still be influenced by the demonic realm in a believer’s life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your Comment<\/strong><\/a>. Please<\/em>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Soul, which is the mind, will, and emotions. The physical body. Our spirit is saved, buit ouir soul must be renewed by the washing of the Word. Our bodies must fall under subjection to our spirit. Our spirit communes with the Holy Spirit which inturn should be convictiong our soul and keeping our bodies under control. <\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n Q<\/strong> ) 3 Discuss the fact that faith is of the heart, not the head. What is the difference between the “confession brings possession” doctrine and pure faith?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your Comment<\/strong><\/a>. Please<\/em>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesus tells us that we can have the desires of our hearts. First, seek the things of the Kingdom. Then these things will be added. Honestly, when you have the Kingdom manifesting in your life, you have a pearl of great price that cannot be matched by anything, and that’s why we’re giving this story of the merchant selling all he had just to purchase that pearl of great price. What is the great price in your life? Peace that passes understanding, unspeakable joy, no greater love than this, that is the Son of God. So while our minds and our physical bodies are weakened through the fall, the heart is fed by the Spirit of God. We can manage from Heaven, and there can be no doubt. So we don’t just program our brains that takes in data but have the experiancial love relationship Jesus created us to have. The one God wants to have with us. <\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n Q<\/strong> ) 4 Discuss how familiar spirits make false circumstances look real, causing oppression such as self-hatred and addiction. What is the enemy’s agenda, and why is it important to understand his ploy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your Comment<\/strong><\/a>. Please<\/em>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n I remember watching a very popular broadcast that Dr. Kevin himself frequented at the start of his ministry, where the host mentioned that he was sitting with some ministers who had large congregations, and that one individual heard something that was never said. And eventually, it was resolved at that table what the person heard was never actually said. It seemed as if the thought was injected into the individual’s mind. Not a misunderstanding of what was said, but something that was completely out of the blue and would never have been mentioned at all at that table by the particular individual who was in question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This is how the enemy works; it doesn’t have to be a super minister. It could be a husband, a wife, a brother, a daughter, a mother, or a sister; it could be anyone hearing things that are not said or twisting things that were said to mean something completely different than what was intended. This can have a devastating effect on how we see ourselves and the world, especially when it’s self-defeating talk and ideas that persuade our emotions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As I just said, the enemy is a liar, and when he lies, he speaks his language. One medicine bottle on the shelf I can recommend is the Book of Psalms\u2014the Gospels of Jesus Christ. The Word of God for sure sets one free and opens the prison doors.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n Q<\/strong> ) 5 Discuss how to break cycles of rejection in your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your Comment<\/strong><\/a>. Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You that we are delivered from every evil spirit. I bind and cast out every familiar spirit working in each individual’s life, in all my family, all over the world, and in the Warrior Fellowships. I bind these familiar spirits, silence them, and command them to stop their maneuvers against each person in the name of Jesus. I pray, Father, that each of Your children would see this evil working against them and stop it. Lord, break the cycle of rejection. I declare it is broken, in Jesus’ name. I command every evil spirit to flee right now. Thank You, Father, that everyone in every fellowship will love each other and that no evil will be working any longer. Thank You, Lord, for removing those buttons that the devil keeps pushing out of everyone’s life. Lord, may they know that they are accepted and loved by You, and they’re not rejected. I break rejection off of them right now. In Jesus’ name, amen.
