Welcome to week 25 of the 2022 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry.<\/p>\n

This has to be one of the most important messages I have heard. How do we feel about God? I mean what are His character traits? <\/p>\n

This simple fifteen-minute discussion by Dr. Kevin Zadai tells us some very important aspects we seem not to understand. Sure we hear sermons leaning in this direction but the overall comprehension is somewhat opaque in regards to Who God is and what God’s character is like.<\/p>\n

In a recent blog post here, I mentioned how a grandma, an educated woman, thought God broke her wrist because her playtime with her grandchildren exceeded the time she gave to God. Now this woman is a devote woman. She is a wonderful individual. And she has sat in church pews for several decades. How do we come to conclusions like this? How can we reconcile our thoughts when we are told “God is good” and at the same time causes all the calamities on earth? <\/p>\n

Have you ever seen the Christian women marching during the Easter Holiday season literally beating their backs with chains? Their backs are bleeding and they’re singing songs while they march. You might say they do not understand that Christ took our punishment for us and we do not need to appease God by this behavior. That is absolutely true. But do you trust God enough to seek Him with boldness even when things do not go well? <\/p>\n

Adam and Eve hid in the Garden. God gave them a suitable covering for the time being. Then we read about the priestly garments in scripture and of the mantle of Elijah. And now we are clothed with Christ Himself. While we wish to have the anointing that was on Elijah’s mantle, we have the greater living in us! Jesus has told us Himself, “You shall do greater works” sending His Holy Spirit to indwell the believer. <\/p>\n

And what is better than all that? It is Christ Himself seeking fellowship with us! Remember that God has removed our sins from His sight and made us the righteousness of Christ. Don’t hesitate to commune with Him. He is the answer and the Way of escape from these earthly trappings. <\/p>\n

So, what is it that hinders us from seeking a closer relationship with God? It should not be our failures, our sins. Christ died for us while we were His enemies. He knew what we would do before we were born. He knows our very next step and thought. Yet He chose us before the foundations of the world was created. <\/p>\n

Now, if we feel we must beat our back with a proverbial chain, do we feel it necessary to beat our neighbors back too? How far from the truth do we go when our perception of God is not as it should be? Do we lay stumbling stones before one another thinking we are holding each other accountable? If you do, then we are not following scripture. I heard a pastor speaking on a Christian radio broadcast several years ago say for every three people who enter a church, two walk out. <\/p>\n

Let’s read a famous quote.<\/p>\n

“I like your Christ, but not your Christianity.<\/em>” <\/p>\n

Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. J.H.Dec 31, 1969 <\/p>\n

I believe that is how most people feel. <\/p>\n

I hope the revival that is coming about will allow the church to become the Church it should be. <\/p>\n

God has accepted you and it is up to you to seek Him and in doing so, you will be more like He is. <\/p>\n
