Immediate Obedience Opens the Floodgates of Heaven Part 1

"If God speaks to you and tells you to do something, do it very quickly because that is your catalyst for what you need in life."

~Kevin Zadai

But Peter and the apostles replied, "We must obey God rather than
any human authority."
Acts 5:29 NLT

DISCUSSION:
This week we will continue the discussion from last week on getting God's attention. As previously mentioned, I observed a powerful way to get God's attention when I was in Heaven. I discovered that immediate obedience opens the floodgates of Heaven. So let's dive even deeper into this topic.

Acts 5:29 teaches us that we must obey God rather than any human authority that goes against Him. That is a profound statement, especially today with all the oppression in the world's governments. And satan has worked his way into not only the governments but also some churches and ministries. Many are riddled with ungodly control and manipulation.

WE ARE ALL A PART OF GOD'S HUGE PLAN
From one man He created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward Him and find Him— though He is not far from any one of us.

Acts 17:26–27 NLT
I saw in Heaven that God's intent for every person was already written before they were born. We also see in Acts 17:26–27 that God, in His foreknowledge, already established every person who would live in each specific generation, nation, and territory. He had already established His will for each one ahead of time.

God has now revealed to us His mysterious will regarding Christ— which is to fulfill His own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ— everything in heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to His plan…The Spirit is God's guarantee that He will give us the inheritance He promised and that He has purchased us to be His own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify Him.
Ephesians 1:9–11, 14 NLT

Even though we may not see it clearly, God has a huge plan throughout the ages that will culminate at the end, where His family in Heaven and on earth will be established. Ultimately, we are all one, and God will get His family back. Essentially, all of us will be together at the end. That is what is taking place now.

We are all on a journey to the expected end when we are transferred into the kingdom of light, even as we already have been in the Spirit (Colossians 1:13). We will receive our new bodies (1 Corinthians 15:53–54). We will be taken from the earth and placed into the heavenly city, which will descend to the earth and be established here (Revelation 21:2).

GOD'S PLAN IS ESTABLISHED THROUGH AGREEMENT
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
Matthew 18:19–20

I went to Heaven during an operation, and Jesus ministered to me for 45 minutes. The most important revelation that I saw in Heaven was about obedience. It was all about finding out what God has for each individual, then all of us coming together in agreement. God's plan is for the body of Christ and the believers to get together and agree on touching any one thing, and it would be done. This causes an overthrow of the enemy's agenda.

The Warrior Notes fellowships were designed to carry out God's great plan. Groups are meeting worldwide, hearing God's word and ministering to each other's needs. They agree and pray for their governments and for God's plan to be implemented.

KNOWN IN HEAVEN
My mind was blown when I learned how to get God's attention. Jesus shared with me that I was actually known in Heaven. I was only 31 years old when He appeared to me during that operation. He said that people in Heaven had heard about me because of my obedience. It was more than just obedience; He said it was my instant obedience. When God spoke to me, I would drop whatever I was doing and obey His voice.

"Yes," Jesus replied, "and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for My sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life."
Mark 10:29–30 NLT

When I became a Christian, I really became a Christian. I was fully committed because I had left everything. I counted the cost and left what I planned on doing concerning my career. Although God was leading me, at the time, it seemed that not being able to pursue my aviation career was descending to a lower level. I was walking away from everything that I wanted to do. And to tell you the truth, the last thing I wanted to do was go to college to become a minister. That was not my plan, and I didn't know the Bible well. Still, I yielded to the Lord.

Growing up, I read about obedience and disobedience in the Old Testament, especially where the children of Israel disobeyed God. I knew about those events because I went to church twice a week my whole life. However, when I was born again, I realized I had to actually practice what I read, meaning I had to walk away from what I wanted to do then. I shared that because Jesus said I was obedient and had surrendered my will.

I was led by the Spirit, and people knew about me in Heaven, which was profound to me. I was only 31 years old when this happened and thought, what impact could I have made? Jesus said that it was very rare for people to be obedient instantly and immediately.

o Why did Jesus tell Dr. Zadai that he was known in Heaven? What was so rare about his obedience to God?

STOP DELAYING
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Matthew 26:41

Some people take years to learn how to be obedient and follow through. How many times have we delayed something and did not get it done? Even 30 years after encountering Jesus, I still think about what He said. So now, if I see something that needs to be done, I get it done immediately. I am not perfect, but I've learned to no longer delay things. If it needs to be done, just do it.

The Lord showed me that if you do not take care of what needs to be done, it may not be taken care of at all. For instance, if you see something on the floor in your room or office, it might stay there if you don't pick it up. When I worked for Southwest Airlines, I saw that if something needed to be cleaned or picked up on the airplane, employees would often think someone else would get to it. If it was not taken care of after two or three flights, I realized I had to do it. Because I was the supervisor, I instructed the other employees to be more diligent as well. Yet the bottom line was that the Lord taught me that if you don't pick something up that's on the floor, it might just stay there. The same concept applies to your life and your church.
If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities.

Luke 16:10 NLT
You must be immediate about your obedience because there are times when things will not be done if you don't do them. You may have seen something on the floor and didn't bend down and pick it up, then find it still there the next day. The Lord showed me that if it were a $10 or $100 bill, it wouldn't stay on the floor very long. But if it's a scrap or a piece of garbage in your car or room, the temptation may be to ignore it. Cleaning doesn't happen by itself. We must learn to be obedient and faithful even in what seems to be insignificant areas.

GOOD LEADERS TAKE RESPONSIBILITY
Good leaders take responsibility and are accountable.

• Sometimes we lack motivation because we don't realize that our immediate obedience does generate a reward and recognition in Heaven.

• I have learned the importance of not only being obedient, but being immediate.

• True leaders just take care of things.

• Authentic leaders also train others to be responsible as well.

• Historical leaders are those who have replicated themselves in others. That's what we want to do at Warrior Notes. I want everyone connected to me to learn what I've learned and then transfer that to others.

FAVOR COMES WHEN GOD LOOKS AT YOU
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you, and give you peace.
Numbers 6:24–26

You will start to see that your immediate obedience brings favor; it causes God to see you, and you get His attention. When God is looking at you, beams of light come from His face. That happened to Moses when he was on the mountain with God. After His encounter, he had rays of light coming from his own face. He had to cover his face because it glowed (Exodus 34:31–35). I saw that favor is when God stares at you to the point where those beams hit you. This may be a child-like perspective of favor, but it is happening in my life. I am receiving favor because God is staring at me. It has nothing to do with me and everything to do with Him.

I can tell you that immediate obedience is a key to Heaven moving in your life. If God speaks to you and tells you to do something, do it very quickly because that is your catalyst for what you need in this life. If He is telling you to do something for someone else, such as giving financially, an act of kindness, or releasing a message to them, that needs to be done very quickly. That is the catalyst for the angels to work. You will have God's attention, and He will certainly have yours. You will see Him move.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:23–24

I have made it a practice to pray in the Spirit to see if God wants me to give a word of encouragement to somebody. I found that He would give me words as I was faithful and obedient to Him. Words are seeds that you can sow into others. You can also sow finances, acts of kindness, and time. Whatever you can do, just be obedient when God tells you to do it, and you'll get Heaven's attention.
Most of us don't realize that we do get rewards and that God shines his face on us when we obey Him. He has a reward system. Remember, Hebrews 11:6 says that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

PRAYER:
Father, I thank You so much for all of the Warrior Fellowships. Thank You for my family, everyone all over the world that is agreeing with You and Your word. By the Spirit of God, release such powerful encouragement that we will have faces that glow, just like Moses. Moses glowed because he encountered the face of Your presence there on the mountain, and I thank You, Lord, that You're smiling upon us right now and that favor is coming. Thank You, Lord, that we have Your attention when we are obedient, so give us grace to always be immediate in our obedience. I declare that we are not going to be hindered any longer. We will do the works that you called us to do. Thank You for Your power.

In the name of Jesus, I break poverty, sickness, and confusion off of my family right now. Thank You, Holy Spirit, that You're ruling and reigning. Lord God, I thank You for giving us the power to obtain wealth in this life and that You will help us receive those finances to help others. Make us distribution centers for Your glory. I pray that we see You smile on us, Lord, and receive our reward when we meet You on that day, in Jesus's name, amen.
