Welcome to week 23 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.

I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 23_2023

Hearing the voice of God and then obeying.

How do we discern that still, small voice? It comes to us, I know, but it is truly a small voice amid something we may be doing in a frantic hurry. But there is no doubt that God is giving me advice. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was just an idea I conjured up. But after a while of staying tuned in instead of letting my thoughts go off on so many different tangents, which is typical for me, I concluded that this was God giving me advice right on the spot. I’ve become more tuned to recognizing this voice and following through. I have to say I know for sure that this is God giving me advice at this point.

Q 1. Discuss the difference between obedience and immediate obedience. According to Acts 17:26–27, how does our cooperation with God’s great plan impact others?

God is truly amazing! The alpha and the Omega – The first and the last! And that He is omniscient and knows all. And he’s concerned with the minute details of our life. I don’t know what you may have heard people say, but God is concerned with every aspect of our existence. And He wants to fellowship with you! And we were created for love. And is Dr. Kevin always reminds us God is not the creator of chaos, pain, and suffering. These are circumstances of the fall, which we deal with in this fallen realm; this is not God’s intention. He intended to go to the Cross and save you at such a great expense. Don’t forget that! Don’t confuse God’s character, the condition of the fall, and what He does to remedy situations basedd on our actions.

Immediately obey that voice. Part of my learning process is not to ask a question. It’s one thing to wonder whether it’s God’s voice until you can recognize it and ensure you follow the right path. But it’s another thing to question that voice once you know it is the Lord.

Immediate obedience. Have you ever had a discussion that was on a higher level with an individual, and you felt you probably stepped out of sorts in your interaction? And then get a notion that you need to go over to that person and express yourself in a different way – to correct your overreaction? That happens to me, and I immediately obey the voice of God. In those situations, it’s the Holy Spirit convicting me. A voice is not necessarily involved here, but I know without even giving it a minute’s thought what I need to do.

Q 2. According to Luke 16:10, how will the Lord promote us if we are faithful with small things?

There is no doubt for me that the more I walk in the calling, the yolk that the Lord has given me, the more I feel fulfilled. And the more faith, the more encouragement the Lord gives you as you are obedient to him, the more likely you are to succeed in other areas in your life due to that Holy Spirit – the dunamis power given to us by the Lord.

I’m experiencing this right now in my life. There are things that distract me from the journey, not necessarily things I do wrong but the enemy working against me through whoever, unfortunately. But that’s what the enemy does, and that includes me as well. But we have to be faithful to the Word of God – the Bible and that small, still voice.

Q 3. Have you neglected some “small things” or areas of life? If so, what steps can you take to correct them?

The answer to this question is yes!

And you know those small things that we correct confess and repent of bring joy to the heart that no monetary system cannot measure.

I remember hearing a friend tell me while decorating a wedding hall that the small details stand out and make the overall decorative process successful.

I think it’s the same way in life. And God is looking at the details. He is concerned with the details and with every aspect of your life. His goal is to make it beautiful! We can thank God we serve a God of love!

Q 4. According to this study, what gets God’s attention? What happens when He looks at you?

God is looking at you as He knew you before you came to this earth and before the earth was created. He knows all your potential, He knows all your pain, all your suffering, He knows what it is that holds you back, and He knows what things we need to turn away from. He’s waiting for you to follow more closely. I think that includes all of us. I know the more I stay loyal to Jesus – to know He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother – the more we become part of His loving family.

Q 5. What happens when two or three believers come into agreement with Heaven’s agenda according to Matthew 18:19–20?

Matthew 18:19–20
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.

God wants us to love each other and be in unity! This is key! The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy; the church comes to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ – of God the Father – the will of the Holy Spirit! We have to make sure we are walking in love and in agreement in accomplishing all that God has called us to do through His word and His indwelling Holy Spirit!

Discuss ways that your group can come together and overthrow the enemy’s agenda.

Well, this group has not met, which is why this website exists. This has been a tremendous blessing and encouraged me to continue in the calling I mentioned here and in this discussion. But I hope we are all connected in prayer as I suggest we all pray for one another, Dr. Kevin’s ministry, and all the workers we can watch and see on his various YouTube videos. There isn’t a day that goes by where I do not watch Dr Kevin speak. As you may have noticed, there are various YouTube videos right on this website that this blog is a part of. That blog is there for you to interact with and make a comment. You don’t have to worry about what others may think. You may encourage someone in a way you may never meet or know in any other fashion. It is online, and I always give the option for any individual who may stumble across the page to say yes to Jesus and accept Jesus as their Savior. That can happen on the internet. Anyone can come across this blog on the internet through a search, and they may find something you said that might alter their life.

Please pray for me; please pray for all those names you don’t see that are a part of this fellowship or anyone who might come across this page.

Many individuals associated with the ministry receive an email through a form on the various pages of this website, with the link being directly included at the top of the blog that this text is on. Jesus-abc.net is the website.

Those who sign up for weekly emails have links to various ministries from which they can make donations. Of course, you don’t have to pick any of those; you may have ministries you give to. The home fellowships that meet are encouraged to bring canned foods and other items they can provide to the homeless for outreaches conducted by the ministry in and of itself. But since we do not mean I offer some links as Dr. Kevin says, we are to help the homeless, the widow, and the orphan.

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.

If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.

Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.

God Bless you and keep you!

Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.

Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
