Getting Answers – Week 34
We all have busy schedules. That is part of this life. But we need to do our best to have communion and fellowship with God. That will help us get on the same page as God.
I love Hebrews 11:1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. KJV
Our faith, in the plainest sense, everyone who has the Holy Spirit is saved lives by faith, all though it might not be evident. It depends on what that person knows and understands as faith. For instance, I know someone who has little Bible knowledge but is filled with the Holy Spirit and totally in love with Jesus. She knows that Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Her zeal and commitment to our Loving God are very evident. There is no doubt that her faith is the evidence of the unseen. And what a blessing that is!
In the deeper sense, our faith and understanding of God’s promises for a blessed life here and now are seen in His word. Again, the Bible gives us examples of these things we hope for. But in our lives today, our faith sends us to church. Our faith feeds the hungry. Our faith helps us love our neighbor. These are very tangible things. And if we can pray like David prayed and ask God to put a guard over our mouths, so we do not curse but bless and speak God’s goodness to people, then our faith is evidenced, and the world looks on.
So, with that said, what have we asked for? I can tell you my wife use to pray, “Lord, send me a little white dog.” Surely enough, we have a little white dog, and we did not pay for it. So, I told my wife to pray for a house next since we received that dog.
Also, our faith should be focused on God’s truth for us. God loves us with everlasting love. We are more than conquerors. We have overcome. We are blessed. Let the Redeemed say so! This should be the substance of our lives!
Regardless of what this fallen realm throws at us, we walk by faith and not by sight.
Elisha’s prayer:
2 Kings 6:
15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early in the morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. So he asked Elisha, “Oh, my master, what are we to do?”
16 “Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
17 Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.”
And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw that the hills were full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. BSB
Always remember that if God is for us, and He is, who can stand against us and who can snatch us out of God’s hand?
We are standing on victory, and whatever we pray for, we believe we have received.
Let me just some up the four questions here. I just discussed the bullet point at the start of the discussion. Kevin Zadai’s ministry has revolutionized my faith. It started with the Sid Roth show.
Many of Sid Roth’s guest and his personal insight has given my more faith and hope. I am very grateful.
Thank you and God Bless,
