Welcome to week 32 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. Q o What is the difference between the soul and the spirit of a person?

Our Spirit is the Holy Spirit indwelling us. That makes us as righteous as Christ is before God and allows us entry into Heaven.
Our soul is the part of us that needs to be renewed in the completion of our sanctification. We must lean not on our understanding but trust in the Lord and renew our minds by the washing of the Word.
Q 1) Discuss what it means to be a new creation in Christ, according to 1 Corinthians 5:17.

Joy unspeakable: How can we put into words what God has done for us? That is the love part. Being made new means we have access to Heaven. We are no longer prisoners of the fallen world and its ways. We have free will to choose the sanctified life and leave the old things behind. Whatever happened in the past can be healed and made new. Your whole life is new in Christ Jesus. We must live that way.
Q 2) Discuss the process that must take place in our spirits, souls, and bodies for us to walk in synchronization with the Holy Spirit.

By renewing our minds through the washing of the Word, prayer, and fellowship, we become a part of God’s ongoing process through the work of the Holy Spirit, the Word made alive, and our being becoming aware of God’s love indwelling us.
Q 3) What does it mean to live the crucified life?

What does it mean to appease God? I ask this question due to seeing people literally beat their backs with chains till they were bleeding in order to show their zeal for God’s goodness and love. But that is not necessary. I saw this in the Church in general. Some people will eat food that should be discarded. They will wear old clothing. They do not take care of themselves the way they should. They neglect to love their neighbor due to the lack of self-love the Bible speaks about. We must understand God is out to do us good. Then, the crucified life is joy. Paul and Silas sang in prison after being beaten. That was due to living for Christ and not for the things of this world.
Q 4) Many people battle with condemnation and guilt of the past. What solution has been provided for us once and for all?

The Blood of Jesus is speaking to this day of His enduring love for His Chruch – for His love toward us individually. There is no accusing voice coming from the throne of Heaven. You might hear it coming from the least expected places, but the accuser is satan.
