Welcome to week 9 of the 2024 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Q 1) Discuss what it means when we pray to the Father, and He sends another helper.

When we pray and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, Jesus does just that which He came to do: Save us from certain death and darkness for all eternity. Jesus promised to send us the Holy Spirit, Who is called the Comforter. While we live in this present time and space we can be assured by the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit within us. This is what makes us righteous in God’s eyes.
Q 2) What does The Holy Spirit do when He councils you? When He directs you? When He shows you of things to come?

The Holy Spirit will speak to you; He will utter suggestions as you walk in your daily life. You may have visions and dreams to warn you in some way. He will give you favor if you stay close and discern between what is right and wrong to Him.
Q 3) What does it mean to understand truth versus fact?

The fact is we are living in a fallen realm in time and space. The truth is God has ordained those who call Jesus Savior and Lord a way of escape from what would be an impossible situation. The Hebrews crossing the Red Sea on dry ground comes to mind.
Q 4) Discuss how Jesus would send the Spirit of Truth and how He would never leave you.

Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
