Welcome to week 49 of the 2024 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments using the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Q ) Discuss: Sonship. What does it mean that you’re a son or daughter of the King? Talk about inheritance and the privileges you have through Sonship.

The more I contemplate that we are the image of God, the more I understand what the term ‘Father’ means and its correlation to God. I almost feel I should not even say it that way. It seemingly is better to say ‘made in the image of God’. But both statements are true. Neither one can be negated. We are – each individually – the image of God on this planet. If somehow that bothers you, you have to get it out of your system. No matter how you fail, no matter what you have experienced in this life, you are the image of God, and if you have received Christ (Messiah) as your Savior, you now have the Holy Spirit living inside of you. You have become the home of God – God’s temple where His presence persists no matter how you feel.
Q ) What does it mean to be accepted as an heir and co-heir? Compare acceptance over rejection.

LOVE: That should be the first words a baby utters out of its mouth. We wait to hear Mommy and Daddy. The Great Commission is God’s call to use to make Him – LOVE – known. If you know you are accepted, you are secure. You will live a healthy Christian life as long as you experience God’s love. You may be in prison like Paul and Silas, and you might be so blessed that you may begin to sing praises to God. Heirs of Salvation. Heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven. Co-heirs with Christ. We receive what Christ receives based on the Goodness of Father God – LOVE.
We may experience rejection in this world, even from those in Christ. or even from our own parents. But LOVE and His word prevail, and His Church is Victorious because Jesus is the builder of His house. Remember, it is always love that leads one to repentance. People do not even know what they should repent of, and none of us have a 20/20 vision when it comes to making an evaluation of our neighbors. So, we must forgive and let God take care of the situation. I say this and know myself: I need to be held accountable.
Q ) How is obedience through Sonship different in the New Covenant with Christ versus the servant-type relationship with God in the Old Testament?

In the Old Covenant, one could not approach God. Only by certain preparations and only on a yearly basis could the High Priest enter the Holy of Holy where God’s presence would reside. If something went wrong, the High Priest might die and have to be pulled out by a rope which is tied to his waist.
Q ) Talk about how satan works through your mind and emotions to make you believe you’re a victim, then discuss how you get to the point of receiving the love of the Father and knowing His grace is sufficient.

Jesus has told us satan is the father of lies. Jesus has told us He Himself is the Truth. That world truth can be translated into reality. Our reality is that we are seated in the heavenly realms – we are not of the world – we are a new creation, even if things look like they are falling apart around us. We need that Centurian faith, and we need to walk in it. Our time here is limited, and then we are with the Lord. Co-heirs of Salvation in a Glorified body that will never decay. So, while we walk on this side of eternity, remember the price that has bought you out of the slavery of sin. There is nothing in the universe outside of God that is worth more than you. It doesn’t matter what you have or do not have. You are a child of the King.
Take those thoughts captive. Do not believe the worst, but also listen for that voice that will guide you into all truth.
