Welcome to week 45 of the 2025 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. Q ) How does building yourself up in the spirit cause you to see clearly?

We build ourselves up in the most holy faith by communing with the Lord and listening to His words, written to us in love, in His Word. When we build ourselves up in our most holy faith, our spirit is ignited with the light of Christ, His Holy Spirit communing with our spirit, bringing virtue and understanding to what He desires – that love letter written on our heart begins to direct our soul – mind, will, and emotions – and then our path is lit. We can walk truly in the ways of the Lord.
Psalm 119: 103-107 NKJV 103 How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. 106 I have sworn and confirmed That I will keep Your righteous judgments. 107 I am afflicted very much; Revive me, O Lord, according to Your word.
Q ) 1; Discuss why you think you can go from making a decision in the spirit but get motivated to do the opposite and change your mind. How and why are the soul and spirit contrasting each other?

Satan wishes to distract us as much as he possibly can. He wants to get his thoughts into our heads, and he wants us to focus on the things of this world. Television commercials, whether on a platform like YouTube or elsewhere, often feature distracting images and content specifically designed to capture your attention – a form of Madison Avenue marketing. It’s actually turned quite satanic outright lately. If you look up at some of these big billboards we see in our cities, it really speaks of sexual immorality, not only by showing a woman sparsely dressed in lingerie, but a man holding a rope that’s tied to the woman while she crawls on her knees. It speaks of human trafficking while advertising clothing or perfume, suggesting even more perverse and satanic occult activity.
Those who don’t have the Spirit of God indwelling them have no power outside of what they’ve been culturally taught is wrong. Being taught Biblical morality is important, but still without the Holy Spirit in you – that hope of glory – the unsaved have no way of resisting what Satan may bring to them, and of course, as culture and peer pressure weigh them down, people gradually become part of the fallen culture.
We who are saved individuals are not completely isolated from the things of this world until the day of our redemption draws near, as our glorification, which is the body receiving its glorified body in the resurrection. As Paul says, we shall all be changed. So, we must feed our spirits and renew our minds.

Q ) 3; What can we do to establish boundaries to keep in with what God desires for us?

We must keep our desires focused on the Lord and His ways. Of course, as I previously mentioned, reading the Bible, reading books written by godly men and women who instruct us in the ways of the Lord, attending church, desiring the things of God, and being in prayer will always bring the delight of God’s presence into your day.
Q ) 4; Discuss: God wants to bless and favor us, and He wants to give us the desires of our hearts, but we have to delight ourselves in Him, where we’re fully satisfied in Him, and look to Him to provide for us.

God’s presence truly creates a new creation. Not only are we that new creation, but the world around us, our view, our thoughts, our souls will delight in the Lord, and the darkness and its evil presence is cast aside. And as we walk through the shadow of darkness, we shall fear no evil. We can glory in the Lord and his beauty as his children and him as our Father. Amen.
