Believing in the Word of God. Believing that Jesus is the Son of God. Believe that once you have partaken of the New Covenant mentioned below with a prayer that invites you into this covenant, you are a son or daughter of God. You are no longer of this world. We are in the world but not of the world. We are patterned after the Second Adam that is Jesus the Messiah. By receiving the Holy Spirit given to the believer, you are made into this New Creation.

Now in this world, we have tribulations. But the Children are called to overcome and be a light. This can only be done with an outright belief in what God has told us in His word.

I do not believe the devil’s lies, no matter how they come packaged. And do not forget they can come packaged as an angel of light. I do not accept them. I believe what the word says, and I am in Christ Jesus. Those who spread lies and evil about one another in the Body profess their iniquity. Remember, you are the beloved of God. It is the only way you will walk properly before the LORD. Walking in Love is the only way to repent of besetting sins. Christ has won the victory, and we are more than conquerors. We move and have our being in Him. Those who say otherwise are speaking against Him and are judging the Law. And they will be judged by the same measure they use to judge others according to Jesus. This is why it is good to be at peace with everyone as a Believer – Romans 12:18. Forgive, love, and continue in what God has for you.

We can ask God for anything. The earth is His and the fullness thereof – Psalm 24:1. But do you believe you deserve it? Do you believe you can have it? Do you believe God made you sick? What terrible things we attribute to the God Who loves us! And how terrible it is as Believers (Protestant, Evangelical, all who are born again) that we beat our backs with chains to appease God. But this is what we do to this very day in light of God’s word written right before us.

If we believe God loves us and does not send sickness and calamity our way, then we can pray to Him as we should. We have a loving Father God who spared not His own Son that we might be called the children of God. Do not forget that!

Through this loving relationship, we know to discern the good from the bad and walk in His ways. We can have victory! Amen to that!
