Welcome to week 11 of the 2026 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments using the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may leave a brief comment to encourage others to comment on Dr. Kevin’s blog exercises. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share, and you don’t know whose life you will affect.

Week 11_2026

Q ) Discuss the difference between how a person’s spirit and soul are influenced. What is the difference between joy and happiness?

Your Comment. Please,

Joy comes from God Himself. It is imparted to us through the Holy Spirit being within us—that is, those who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The scripture states that the Lord took joy in bruising His servant, that is, His very own Son, because while we see the crucifixion and describe it as one of the most torturous deaths ever devised by humanity, God sees this as the way to redeem His creation, the pinnacle of His creation—humanity.

And that’s who you are, and that’s who I am. This is what every human being on earth is. Due to the fall, we see the monstrous behavior of some of us in this fallen state. Nonetheless, God takes joy in redeeming, buying back the spirit of His children, His creation, humanity, and eventually our bodies as well.

We have this joy within us, not based on circumstances, but on the fact that God and His love fills our hearts, and our cup overflows—rivers of living water pouring out from within us. Compassion for the lost, help for the needy, and the widow come from a place not of this world.

Isaiah 53:10 KJV
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Q ) 1 We are not the source of our own joy; we are connected to the Source (John 15). Discuss how this revelation helps us to be more consistent in our response to circumstances.

Q ) 2 Discuss the characteristics of the Holy Spirit described in Galatians 5:22-23. How are these traits transferred to your spirit?

Q ) 3 The joy of the Lord is a supernatural endowment that you can always tap into. Discuss ways you can access this unlimited supply when you need strength.

Your Comment. Please,

We are the righteousness of Christ! Think about it! All of us have faults, our sins, our shortcomings, yet we are called the righteousness of Christ. That can only be true because of God’s Holy Spirit indwelling the believer, making us a new creation. As Jesus told Pontius Pilate, we are not of this world. And so, we exhibit the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace beyond understanding. This is the fruit that springs forth from a heart filled with the love of Christ.

Q ) 4 According to this Bible Study, what does it mean to be a leader? Why is it so important for a godly leader to maintain the joy of the Lord?

Your Comment. Please,

I remember taking my scuba diving class at a community college. Eventually, we had to go to a quarry in Pennsylvania to get our certification.

To get certification, we had to be able to sit on a platform—I believe it was 30 feet under the water—take off our masks and tanks, then put them back on again, clearing the masks with air from the scuba tank in the interim, reattach the tank and regulator, and carry on.

That took discernment, focus, and most importantly, calmness.

This is not something you worry about or worry through to accomplish. We all know we cannot breathe underwater. Common sense tells us we have a tank full of air, and the diving instructor has a tank full of air, so we should remain calm and follow the lessons we learned in the classroom. That’s easier said than done for most people, but it’s very doable.

I always knew and understood that calmness is the way to achieve what needs to be done in a situation that may not be so calm. This applies to our everyday life.

I don’t worry if I’m going to miss the train all that much. I do my best to get through the turnstile and get on board that train so I can catch the next method of transportation, but if I cannot, I don’t run people over, I don’t bump into people, and I don’t give people dark stares as they block my way in my approach to the entrance of the train. If I miss the train, another will arrive in a few minutes.

This is how we have to carry ourselves, even when situations truly bring fear and worry. We have to carry ourselves in a manner that is not hysterical in order to perhaps get to a hospital, call a doctor, or take care of a loved one who’s injured.

And of course, prayer. Prayer makes a difference. Prayer is a lifesaver, and a miracle can happen on the spot. I believe it happened for me when my wife prayed for me in dire circumstances.

And in a setting where people are watching us, we have to remain calm and take the lead on what needs to be done, because panic will only bring more calamity.

Q ) 5 When facing challenges, are you usually unshakeable, trusting God, or do you allow emotions to dictate your reaction? What does it mean to “draw from a higher standard” when facing difficult circumstances?

Q ) 6 Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Your Comment. Please,

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for all our family all over the world. Thank You that the power of the Holy Spirit has anointed everyone and that they are receiving an impartation of joy. Thank you, Lord, for causing it to bubble up within them. Let that supernatural impartation be released right now, in the name of Jesus. May joy reign in their lives. I break the power of the devil. I drive out every depressing spirit and break every demonic power in the name of Jesus. Demons, I break your power, and I send you out. You let go of God’s people right now! And I believe, Lord, that right now You’re releasing joy right now in everyone’s heart, in the name of Jesus, amen.

Prayer Request: If you have a testimony, a healing, or a prayer need, please share it in the comments section below.

Share with us what God is doing in your life and what your prayer needs are – Comment.

Pray with one another and for one another, especially for those with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment, email me, or do both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission, such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and other similar missions are included in each weekly email I send. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but should take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God bless you and keep you! Please respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in this week’s home fellowship video. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Please share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,

Scott.
