For me, what God has shown me about faith I find powerfully described within one of my most favorite verses.

Acts chapter 17 verse 28 for in Him we live and move and have our being…

Acts 17:28a

‘For in Him we live and move and have our being…’

If I live in Him, then all things are possible, and the things of this world grow strangely dim. And the things of this world are the things that can beset us, those mountains that get in the way, all the distractions that try to keep us off the course that God has chosen for us as it is pointed out for us in His Word are the things that become less and less. If I move in Him, then I am moving towards the destiny that God has chosen for me! And I do not live on bread alone but on the manna that comes down from Heaven on that wonderful Word of God. And in Him and through Him, we have life, life more abundant and life eternal. We can walk in it here and now.

So, my being in the here and now and that is in Him, I have the substance of my faith.

Looking at the second question, which is labeled number one, being at the first question is not numbered, I would say that our hearts receive directly from God’s Spirit as He is residing in us. But our minds still have to catch up. Our minds have to be renewed by the washing of the Word and fellowship with one another.

At times we may say things that truly do not come from faith. We may speak out the circumstances, situations, things we see in the natural. But we are called to a higher standard than that.

Looking at question number two, the only thing I can say is to compare it to depositing your money in a compound interest account. What you put into it gradually over the years increases in a logarithmic fashion. No one has more than God, and He’s has given us his only Son. What would He hold back from us?

Wow, having faith that can remove a mountain! Well, Moses parted the sea. And if you look at what’s written there, it is as if God expected him to not even have to ask but to lift up his staff and part the sea.

The mountains we face might as well be just as insurmountable as an uncrossable body of water. But our faith deposited in our Father God is what takes us to the other side.

How do you stop doubt from entering you internally? We have to take every thought captive. It would seem an impossibility in itself, but when our focus is on the Lord, those things that grow strangely dim are out of focus, and with our focus being on Him, we can catch those doubtful thoughts or anything else that blocks our view and destiny.

I think question number four is answered and everything mentioned above.

Thank you, and God bless…
