God sits on His throne, and he laughs at His enemies. Your enemies! The church’s enemies.

One thing that came to my mind this morning before I watched this week’s home fellowship study video and read through the transcript is the greatness of what God has done for us. And that is our ability to love.

We have to remember that. What God has given us is to be able to forgive, to love, to be loved, and to seek truth and justice. It comes from a fellowship with the living God. It comes through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit – through Jesus Christ the Messiah.

I guess that the being we call satan knew love at one time. He was created by God and made one of the most beautiful beings in the kingdom of God. But how far did he fall! He can no longer love. This is his most significant pain, weakness, and his greatest terror; as the scriptures say in Jeremiah, you have become a terror to yourself. The enemy is terrorized by his existence.

What a blessing we have to walk in fellowship, obey God’s word, and lay all hindrances aside. And to seek peace with our maker. What a gift we have. This is why we have to share the Gospel with the lost. Lost at the Fall, but God has chosen to redeem us back to Himself.

The idea of the scepter being Jesus Christ is amazing! And what else can we have except for God Himself Who brings us victory, love, an eternity in grace and peace! This is something the enemy cannot stand against – the love that resides within us, this mighty scepter of power and love!

Did you know that you are God’s favorite?

What price has God paid to make you His favorite?

Don’t think any less of yourself! Don’t let the world the flesh, or the devil, and that fits all areas in our life, that you are anything less than God’s favorite! Then we can walk in the way God has called this to walk.

Well, I worked for people in positions of power who are not born again. And did not have a godly view on morality or life. But prayer always seemed to prevail throughout the day when I did pray that the day would go well. It would seem miraculous, but whenever I prayed, the day always went without incident. Dealing with an unsaved boss is up close and personal. But, what I mean, as you know, you better pray because you don’t know what you what you might expect. But do we take situations seriously enough to pray for the leadership of our country, our county, or our state? I think God can turn situations around. Prayer changed circumstances time and again.

I usually don’t use the word angels in my prayer. However, I have started to recently. I’ll use terms like a “hedge of fire”. But I guess we can call them by their term because these beings are real, and they are set to do the battle.

God has done something so beautiful recently in my life! I just turned 61, and God has shown me and brought me to a place where I was in my early childhood, completely innocent of the knowledge of the evil of this world. Our family used to gather for family reunions, how we used to go and have picnics and go to the beach as a family unit cousins and all. Beautiful memories. Being grateful is a treasure. Though there were many problems in our immediate family, being a child, my mind was truly innocent of knowing what these things were though they had an impact on me; nonetheless, I have only beautiful memories.

I believe speaking to our circumstances is something we have to do daily. I asked God for favor and blessing, but I also need to address issues directly and cast them away. Once again, Kevin and his team have brought us great revelation into God’s word.
