To think that John the Baptist is the greatest in the kingdom is just an amazing thought. Is John the Baptist Greater than Abraham and Moses? Both are very highly esteemed figures in the Old Testament. Moses fulfills the type of a Messiah, showing us what the Messiah would accomplish at His first coming in typology and literally at His second coming, as some scholars are saying. But John the Baptist, as Elijah clearing the path for the Messiah at Jesus’ first coming, is considered greater. I guess his proximity and duties in that role make him the greatest in the kingdom. And yet think of myself sitting in my Lazy Boy watching this program that I’m even greater is astounding. Of course, that includes all of us who are born again. Simply because the Spirit of the Living God is indwelling the believer which makes us Holy. And that’s what makes us the greater. Thank you, Jesus.

Ahhh, that statement Kevin Zadai makes – Just allowing the kingdom to manifest through me (us). Following the calling that God has given us in our lives using Jesus’s talents to invest in His Kingdom.

2 Corinthians 5:20,21
20 Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God is beseeching through us. We implore on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God. 21 He made the One not having known sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

(I just created a short 15-minute video for evangelical purposes, walking in my calling, and it just so happens Kevin is speaking on fulfilling that in our lives, and the topic cross-references each other. The video I made is titled “The Righteousness of God.” Here is the link, and I appreciate it if you would give it a like on YouTube. That will rank the video higher and more people will be exposed to the Gospel.)

Another thought comes to mind when I read in the New Testament what Paul had told us about the natural branches being grafted back in where the wild branch – that is the gentiles non-Jewish people – and that when the natural branches the Jewish people are grafted back in they seem according to what Paul is saying have a much better position than the gentiles. That is amazing and glorious. Thank you, Lord.

Romans 11:24
For if you were cut off out of the naturally wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural, be grafted into the own olive tree!

I never heard the importance of the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6:9 the way Kevin Zadai has told us. I learned that prayer as a little boy in grammar school and I think for those of us who have we relegate Jesus teaching on how we ought to pray to a nursery rhyme of sorts. But it is much more than that! It is the words of God himself on the earth telling us to pray to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to the earth. So let me just say here, honestly, I have not prayed as I should have. I’ve been called to evangelize and to speak and for me to fill that calling, I need to fast and pray and I have not been doing as I should. So please pray for me as well and always keeps one another in prayer. And let’s pray that prayer that Jesus prayed and taught us to pray!

God Bless and thank you,
Scott
