That born-again experience! How incredible it was when I stepped forward and received Jesus as my Lord and my Savior! I wept like a baby for about five minutes or so. And I also received some words of knowledge right at that time. Then through rejection, my interpretation of situations, the devil’s influence painting every picture in a dark fashion, my fallen flesh, and misinterpretation of Who God is, I lost that loving feeling as the Righteous Brothers sing in their hit single. Very sad! Very sad indeed.

I did not know if it was God’s will. I did not know if it was due to my individuality as a person who found Messiah. I did not know if this is what Christianity is all about. I knew I had faults. I knew I experienced God’s love firsthand in a miraculous way. I knew He was real. But I did not see this working in the Church.

This drove a wedge between God and me. The wedge was artificially created. It was never meant to be as such. This is what religion does. It separates you from God.

There was no need for lack. He is sufficient in all things. That is Christ in us the hope of glory. But while Christ comes to give us life and life more abundantly, the enemy comes to kill steal and destroy. And unfortunately, he can work through those in the church and not just those that are of the world. Very sad. Many times, we actually speak wickedly of one another carrying out the will of the fallen one instead of the will of our Father in Heaven. But we don’t have to stay in that valley, do we?

We can focus on the light and make our way towards that beautiful relationship that Christ has suffered so much to give us. It is truly a decision and a matter of forgiving, getting close to the Lord, and surrendering all that is dark at the foot of the Cross. Repenting, confessing, and moving – having our being in Him and not in the things of this world in our thoughts nor in our daily actions.

Anything you put before Jesus the Messiah will steal your joy. And the enemy will always show you the kingdoms of this world, but we are not of this world. So let us hold fast our hope that is in Heaven and His kingdom come here on earth. God’s will is to always love you and make you secure.

God’s ways are not man’s ways. You are secure in the Love of Christ and His nailed scarred hands hold you there for eternity. Nothing shall separate us from the love of Christ.

God Bless and thank you,
Scott
