Welcome to week 26 of the 2022 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry.

I love what Kevin says at the beginning of the video, “God has not changed His mind about you or your situation.” God’s desire is to bring to fruition what He has made you be. Remember you are made in His image. The world wants to tarnish that.

Staying in control. The enemy seems to know where your weak spots are. But you have to remember you are a Child of the King.

The world and satan want you to play their useless games. Stay the course of your calling.

Kevin wants us to discuss how do we react to situations that are not favorable. I would say being in God’s word and praying before the start of the day sets the stage in our life. And of course, we have to remember we are more than conquerors. But how do we walk that walk? We cannot pull a sword out of our suitcase and start to sing the Battle Hymn of the Republic. Though internally that is what might be going on. Please do not mind my humor. We have to deal with situations realistically, starting with the armor of God we read about in Ephesians. Then we can extinguish those flaming arrows before they start a fire.

Kevin speaks of turning yourself in. That is confessing our sins. Our shortcomings. Just search yourself and confess to God your faults. Once you locate yourself, deal with whatever it is that’s giving the enemy a place to take hold, then you can move on.

I just heard Kevin speaking on another program in regards to “knowing where you are”, and what your walk looks like. Once you know where you are, you can plan to go anywhere you like. He made an analogy of a passenger jet finding its location on a GPS system. Once the computer knows where it is, it can travel to any place that will accommodate it within a few feet. How far can you go with God? If we walk the path He has made for us, we will accomplish all He had in mind for us before we were born.

Esther haram

What is really fascinating as I write this and the dialog moves on to discussing Queen Esther. Queen Ester was born to be a queen but before that day came she was just an ordinary girl I would imagine. The Jews were living in a pagan society and God was preserving His people. Kathi mentions that her uncle Mordecai had to tell her to take action on behalf of the Jewish population in this society. When Esther took up the mantle and filled her calling, the Jewish population was given permission to pick up their swords and survive the calamity that was planned by their enemy. They were more than conquerors. I was joking earlier about pulling our swords out of our briefcases and marching into Canon Land as the song goes but here this is what literally happened in the sense that the battle was given and prepared for the Jews to survive in a situation that was not in their favor. God works out all things for good to those who love Him!

The lesson here is we have a weapon sharper than any two-edged sword in our briefcase. We need to start to use it.

How different would our society be here in the United States if the Church pick up its sword and used it?

Please share your comments on the blog concerning this topic Dr. Kevin Zadai has given us for this week’s lesson.

God Bless and thank you,
Scott
