Welcome to week 39 of the 2022 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry.

Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. You can share your comments at the Comment link.

First things first: We serve a God of love. The number one character trait of God is love. I know we all get upset with all that is going on as the grass fades away and our world becomes more antichrist, but we must remember Christ came when the Greckoroman empire ruled Jerusalem. The pagan gods had ritual prostitution beds on the street, and God’s Chosen People were crucified openly on trees.

1 John 4:16
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

Yet the Gates of Hell will not withstand the beating the Gospel of Jesus Christ inflicts upon it. Each time we share the Gospel, we strike the gates of hell with a blow and give testimony. The Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ. Never forget you are more than a conqueror and Who it is that DWELLS in you!

Here is the first question Dr. Kevin Zadai asks of us.

Q. How does the reality of what Jesus did on the cross by taking our sin and its punishment, affect how you view sin? How does this bring you closer in your relationship with God?

For me is just realizing that Jesus is the King of the Universe, and He did not have to do what He did for me. I contemplate how He knew me before the foundations of the world were created and still chose me. One day I will stand before Him and give account for the talents I was given, and if you believe Jesus died for your sins, you are saved and cannot lose your Salvation.

Q. How does the reality of what Jesus did on the cross by taking our sin and its punishment, affect how you view sin? How does this bring you closer in your relationship with God?

This has been on my heart today. I grew up in the “feels good – do it” generation. Though I did not dabble all that much in that era, I was exposed to the ideology. What helps me is realizing I am not of this world. I do not move and have my being in sin but in Christ. What a beautiful dawning is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Our thoughts have to be captivated by the Truth.

Q. 1. Talk about the difference between relationship and position, and how the Lord expects more of us in the area of relationship today.

This question leads back to what was just mentioned here. Dr. Kevin teaches that you cannot lose your Salvation which is positional, and he also mentions that our relationship with the Lord is crucial. Jesus was a person, and He hoped His people would know Who He was. How about you and me? Do we know Jesus that well? Maybe religion has created a wall between you and Christ? Build your relationship with Christ. He died on the Cross for you so that you can have fellowship again with God.

I mentioned the Parable of the Talents. Dr. Missler wrote a book, “The Power, The Kingdom, and The Glory.” He discusses that the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God are two different locations. Let’s read the parable.

Matthew 24:14-30
14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’

26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming, I would have received back my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
NKJV

The weeping and gnashing of teeth are the results of people who know of the Lord but have not obeyed Him. Perhaps they were driven from Him by other passions. But know this is not hell. It is people losing their place God prepared for them, but they failed to enter. They are saved because we cannot work for our Salvation. But we lose more than what we bargained for.

How did the “wicked and lazy servant” view the Lord? He viewed Him as a hard individual. You see, he did not know the Lord. This person saw God as a harsh person. He did not come to know the Lord as He is depicted in Scripture. People must come to know the Lord through His goodness first and then realize that He will bring all things in our life to light on that faithful day.

There are three more questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss on the video for this week’s home fellowship. You might want to share your thoughts on any of the six questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.

Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you.

Please share your comments on the blog concerning this topic Dr. Kevin Zadai has given us for this week’s lesson by watching the video or/and reading the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless and thank you,
Scott
