Welcome to week 45 of the 2022 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. You can share your comments at the Comment link.
Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on the blog about their thoughts.
Discuss in detail how Jesus imparted His ministry and authority to us and that we are made in the image of God. Talk about why you think people back off from this and don’t follow through with what He gave and sent us to do.
1. Discuss why you think that you can go from making a decision in the Spirit but you get motivated to do the opposite and change your mind. How and why are the soul and Spirit contrasting each other?
2. What can we do to establish boundaries to keep in with what God desires for us?
3. Discuss: God wants to bless and favor us, and He wants to give us the desires of our hearts, but we have to delight ourselves in Him, where we’re fully satisfied in Him, and look to Him to provide for us.
4. Testify, pray, and share any miracles, blessings, and healings God has done for you.
It would seem that most of us have not taken the words of Jesus to heart when He says, “you will do greater miracles.” That has to mean each individual, not just a cooperative body of believers. Why? Why was I not taught that we are to do greater works? Can you think of anything?
Do you know God’s plans for you are to bless you? Do you know God’s essential character trait is love? And did you know the world, the devil, and the flesh (soulish) keep this from being apparent?
God has made you with a purpose.
Love brings us to repentance. Love brings you to God.
Psalm 34: 4- 6
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
NKJV
Q1.
My soul leans onto its own understanding, but the Spirit leads to life. So, I have to take every thought captive. Once you taste and know the Lord is good, there is no turning back: Praise God.
Q2.
All the things that can take us away from Christ must be placed aside. The less we focus on the things of this world, the clearer our path will be.
Q3.
Delighting ourselves – Delight yourself but how? We delight ourselves in Him, and in Him is the fullness of Joy. He is the strength of our heart.
It becomes so clear. We see how sin deludes the heart and takes away the true joy that we find in Christ. Looking to Him resolves all issues.
Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.
Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you with us for this week’s lesson by watching the video or/and reading the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
