Welcome to week 44 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 44_2023

Q o Why do you think Jesus acted like He was passing by in Luke 24?

Your Comment. Please,

Jesus wants to be invited in. We have to initially ask Jesus into our lives to be saved, and then He wants to have fellowship with us. It’s not God is over there, and I’m here in this relationship. Jesus had compassion, and He wants His followers to have the same compassion for each other and the lost.

Q 1) Why is it essential to know by faith in your heart that God is with you, even when you don’t feel Him?

Your Comment. Please,

I see this more and more daily in my life. God is waiting for us to ask for help. Do not be ashamed if you fail. God wants to intervene in your situation. He was willing to die in your place due to His intimate love for you.

Q 2) Discuss what happened on the road to Emmaus, according to Luke 24, and what we can learn from it.

Your Comment. Please,

????

Q 3) When we are struggling in life and feel like God is far away, what does Jesus want us to do? Why do you think God sometimes cloaks Himself?

Your Comment. Please,

God calls us friends. He is not far away, and he is closer than a brother – a sibling and even more so than a parent. We are given an illustration as He wept over Jerusalem, wanting to gather the lost sheep of Isreal as a hen gathers her chicks. He longs for us. God must have done something extraordinary when He made us in His image.

Q 4) When we do not engage the Lord, He will not force Himself on us. What does discerning the Lord mean, according to this study?

Your Comment. Please,

God is in our situation; He has taken it upon Himself before we were born. It is up to us to have that intuitive knowledge, that heart-felt knowledge that God is with us and He will never forsake us. We have to invite Him in.

Q 5) Is there a situation in your life where you are frightened, filled with doubt, or feel like God is hiding Himself from you? What will you do to engage the Lord?

Your Comment. Please,

This happens especially if you are called to evangelize, and we all are in some way disciples of the Lord; someone may argue with their associate just when you were going to converse with the person next to you on the bus, there may be tensions building in public places where you thought you could begin to speak to some folks distracting you from communication. All we need to do is remember our God is greater, and we need to ask Him into the situation.

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God Bless you and keep you! Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,

Scott.
