Welcome to week 35 of the 2022 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry.

A legacy. We read about these wonderful men and women of God in the Old Testament, which Dr. Kevin mentions, are heroes in the sense that we can read of in our Bibles. You may wonder how you can live up to that! One thing that came to my mind is Jesus’ statement regarding John the Baptist.

Matthew 11:10-11
10 For this is he of whom it is written:

‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.’

11 “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he
NKJV

So he that is least referencing those who are saved in the era of Grace is greater than John the Baptist. That includes you and me. The Bible also tells us we are created for good works.

Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
NKJV

Understand God created us – we are His workmanship – Created in Christ Jesus for the purpose of performing good works. Those who lived in the Old Covenant were created with great purpose in mind, there is no doubt, but we are created in Christ Jesus under the New Covenant specifically for revealing the mystery, that glorious Salvation we are not to neglect, to share, and perform in our daily walk. God give us the strength to do so.

If you’re a mom, you are leaving a legacy. If you are a day, you are leaving a legacy. If you give to the poor, you are leaving a legacy. If you give a cup of water to someone in Jesus’ name, you are leaving a legacy. We can do many things that leave a legacy that we may not be aware of.

Won’t you tell us on the blog here by leaving a comment on how God saved you? This is also a legacy, your salvation, and anyone who might read your story will be impacted by it.

Share your personal experiences. Tell us what God is saying to you.

Please share your comments on the blog concerning this topic Dr. Kevin Zadai has given us for this week’s lesson.

God Bless and thank you,
Scott
