I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 16_2023

Q o How does the Holy Spirit bring the words of Jesus to remembrance?

God is so good to us. He brings into remembrance His word and His Love to us through His Holy Spirit. Just as I am writing this, the Holy Spirit brought a scripture verse, specifically verse 10 in the BSB, to mind:

Paslm 19:7-14

7 The Law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making wise the simple.

8 The precepts of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart; the commandments of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

9 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true, being altogether righteous.

10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.

11 By them indeed Your servant is warned; in keeping them is great reward.

12 Who can discern his own errors? Cleanse me from my hidden faults.

13 Keep Your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless and cleansed of great transgression.

14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
BSB

The Lord directs my walk in one direction and not another, at times spiritually and literally in the direction I should walk in. His words are truly a light unto our path.

Q 1. According to this study of John 14:26, how does the Holy Spirit help you to hear God’s voice?

I believe I answered this though it can be expanded on.

Q 2. Discuss the difference between God’s truth versus facts or observation. How does the Holy Spirit lead us into God’s truth, according to John 15:26?

It is so important not to agree with a bad report given to us by a doctor or a friend. We have to speak God’s truth to one another. Since we are made in God’s image, our words have the power to heal or destroy. Don’t agree with a bad report the Doctor has given to you or a loved one. We do walk in a fallen realm, but we move and have our being in God, and we are not of this world. We have to forgive; we have to seek truth in all our ways. We have to surrender what is not healthy to God’s cleansing fire. The facts of this fallen world will not produce fruit of the kingdom but of the fallen. Our words can bring life or death. It’s in the power of the tongue. Our tongues can change the course of nature. We have to direct our thoughts and agree with God’s Word.

Guard your words and guard your ears.

Every good thing comes from God the Father. He ordained our ways before we were born. He has given us free will to accomplish what He has given us. We walk on scorpions and snakes. They are beneath our feet. Jesus is the Corner Stone which we build our faith upon. His words are true – reality. I was reading a book that states God is reality. What we see is temporal when we look at the things of this fallen realm. But here we are, more than conquers. We are His workmanship.

Q 3. God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all flow together in perfect unity, honoring each other’s authority. Why is it important to understand that the Holy Spirit and Jesus only speak words from the Father? How does that impact how to minister to others?

God is Love: Key fact we are to build our ministry upon. If we do not look at one another with that filter first, we fail to see and hear God’s word in the content it is given in. No matter what we see, we know God loves us and has ordained us to minister. We call it the Great Commission.

If God is for us, who can be against us? Remember to look at everyone with God’s eyes first. That thought came to me yesterday when I went to the beach. Going through the crowds on public transportation, the folks on the beach with all the sexual tension due to the sensual dress ware. the implications set by the atmosphere. But we move and have our being in Christ. I share the Gospel nonetheless. I make my intentions clear. I still do the will of the Father, the actions of Christ, and the word of the Holy Spirit.

Q 4. John 16:13 describes the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of reality. How does He help us to experience the reality of God’s kingdom?

Such a great question! We have to move in Christ. He is reality. doubt, fear, lies, and bad reports from a doctor, are all temporal and of the fallen realm. My brothers and sisters, we are not of this world, so we must avoid living by its standards as Christ’s followers.

Q 5. Discuss how the Spirit of truth speaks to us prophetically concerning the future. How do we remain in faith when the facts in our life seem to be opposite from God’s truth?

I have had visions of all we see today in our society as a teenager over four and a half decades ago. We are to pray that evil will not prevail. We claim God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven in our lives and walk. And we do not walk by sight but by faith. I have not had the joy in my heart I do today since I was a little child. I am so blessed. His light lights up the darkest night.

Always be blessed by God’s love. Never forget He loved us first before we could ever know His love for us.

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.

If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.

Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.

God Bless you and keep you!

Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.

Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
