Welcome to week 26 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.
Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.
I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.
Week 26_2023
Q o What hindrances or wrong mindsets come to mind concerning running your race for the Lord?
Giving heed to seducing spirits: complaining how things should be and not moving forward, losing sight of what God wants us to be due to circumstances and situations. The enemy wants us to focus on what’s wrong. These things will get us off track, but we must remember to run the good race.
Philippians 3:13,14
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Q 1. All of Heaven is cheering us on, including the saints that have gone before us. How does that revelation impact your mindset concerning God’s call on your life?
The idea that Heaven is cheering for us is incredible. I often wondered how someone up there might feel about me down here. But all of them had flesh and blood like us on the earth. All of humanity’s weaknesses tempted Jesus Himself. So God is not surprised, and all those who have gone before us know what the finished product will be.
Have you ever felt as if people you know who passed on see you at times and feel as if they were cheering, knowing you have received Christ and are born again?
Q 2. Discuss our responsibility to lay aside the weights that easily entangle us as we run our race, according to Hebrews 12:1.
I have recently felt empowered to lay aside the weights, the cares, and the worries that take me off my calling. It is as if the weights dropped off by themselves. I see my purpose, and I’m in pursuit of the call. I would say following your call gets you focused and running in the right direction in and of itself.
Q 3. How does the understanding that your life started and will finish with Jesus bring freedom from any pressure to perform religiously?
This is the most freeing of all. To understand, just like a loving parent nurtures a little child, we have the assurance that our heavenly father controls our life. A little child doesn’t worry about the rent, doesn’t worry about all that much. The child just looks to the parent for sustenance.
The Aleph and Tav – The beginning and the end. The author and finisher of your faith. Our concern has to be the Gospel and sharing that truth with the world. Then the strategy of the enemy fails. Love conquers the scheme of the enemy.
Lately, I have told myself I should have done more and asked the Lord to forgive me for falling short of my calling. With that said, I feel I’m fulfilling the call at my present time.
Q 4. Discuss Romans 8:3–4. Why don’t believers have to fear the judgment of past sinful acts and the condition of sin when they get to Heaven?
The positional work of the cross. The work of the cross, as we have mentioned previously on this blog. Accomplishes our righteousness and qualifications for entering heaven. We can do nothing to make the cross better or take away its power of salvation. We must come to grips with that. I know we’ve been taught otherwise. But the fact is if you have received Christ as your Savior, you are saved.
Q 5. According to this study, what does it mean to be audited in Heaven? How can you get right with the Lord and maximize your God-given potential now?
I heard something along these lines once before. In one way, it’s a relief; in another, it’s a bit worrisome.
I know there’s so much more I should have accomplished. But since I’m still here, I still have the opportunity to get things done despite many obstacles and hindrances. One thing that I’m very grateful for is the way Dr. Kevin expresses the word. As I mentioned in other sections of this blog, it’s set me on a path to fulfill my calling. Those hindrances can come from within ourselves, the enemy’s attack, and the world system. Unfortunately, the enemy can attack us even by those we trust within the church—the modern religious system. Jesus had the deal with that system. This is always the case. But it’s really on each and every single individual to run that good race. It’s up to me to accomplish what has been written about me in Heaven. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. It’s my responsibility. One of the greatest motivators is joy. That Joy comes from our maker. It comes through the helper: the one and true God.
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.
If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.
Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
God Bless you and keep you!
Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.
Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott

While Jesus accomplished everything we need for salvation on calvary , Phil 2:12 reminds us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. It’s a walk of faith that we live and carry out on a daily basis, mindful of who we are in Christ and the responsi bility Hes given us to be imitators of Him and demonstrate His Love & Power.
