Welcome to week 25 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.

I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 25_2023

Q o If God puts you with others, can He trust you to function correctly with them? Discuss some areas in your life where you sense God developing you.

Lately, as I grow in the Lord and return to my first Love, I have complete trust once I see things more clearly. Unfortunately, that was a blind trust which is something I should have been a bit more aware of. I had a great deal of trust in ministry. It was great to have childlike faith and trust. I’m getting there with a bit more wisdom this time around. We all have to remember all of us have flesh and weaknesses from the top down within the church. We must discern what and who may be influenced and how far we allow these individuals into our lives.

But now, with Wisdom and knowledge of God’s word. I had to seek the Lord out for myself; I couldn’t just trust everything everyone said. They could be correct; I could misinterpret what they said, or they may be mistaken. My view of what was being said could be incorrect. So instead of just making assessments, I started attending Bible college and reading the Bible from cover to cover repeatedly and hearing thousands of sermons.

The answer to the question is a four-letter word. L O V E.

The Bible tells us God is Love. And if that word disturbs you, you haven’t discerned the God of the Bible.

Get back to your first Love – the childlike faith, the innocents, and blind faith of a child that doesn’t have any in this standing but trust. That level of trust could only be given to God, of course.

Everything else depends on our ability to reason and comprehend and see the glass being half full and not half empty. Walk in the authority of Christ; walk in the power under the blood.

Exodus 33:11
So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.
NKJV

Don’t forget, you are a friend of God!

Israel Houghton, I am a friend of God.

And let us Love one another!

Q 1. According to John 7:24, what does it mean to judge righteously? Why is it important to see, hear and perceive in the Spirit?

Truth! Love! Be aware of God’s word and the intent behind it. Too many people today quote scriptures out of context, point fingers, and even post videos speaking evil of ministries. These people have lost their direction. They may very well be working with a demonic entity driving them to do what they do. They can have a high position in ministry and be deceived. Watch what you say because your words will bring you the same evaluation and righteous judgment from God upon you. Based on your level of understanding and what you say. What is in your heart? Is it a correct assessment? I ask this of myself constantly.

There’s no digression here. I have to put this forth because I saw it so many times in ministry, and these verses here create a distinction between those who judge themselves and those who are pointing fingers at others.

I have seen it time and time again within the church building where people’s teeth were set on edge against one another based on stories people were saying about others.

Watch out! There’s a spirit working here, and it is not the Holy Spirit! It can enter through the ear gate and proceed through the lips of anyone.

I won’t give examples that I’ve witnessed. I can point out ministries and ministers whom God showed what happens when people judge one another unrighteously and share slanderous stories about ministries and ministers. It’s a form of witchcraft.

Q 2. Community is central to the move of God that we are in. How do you develop accountability and trustworthiness with God and others?

Trust comes from loving the Word and not coming into harsh assumptions about others. You have to able to communicate with others without judging them based on cultural variances.

A Double Edge Sword:
Proverbs 12:12-19
12 The wicked desire the plunder of evil men, but the root of the righteous flourishes.

13 An evil man is trapped by his rebellious speech, but a righteous man escapes from trouble.

14 By fruitful speech a man is filled with good things, and the work of his hands returns to him.

15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel.

16 A fool’s anger is known at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult.

17 He who speaks the truth declares what is right, but a false witness speaks deceit.

18 Speaking rashly is like a piercing sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

19 Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
BSB

Q 3. Discuss the separation that is taking place in the body of Christ. Why can’t some people go beyond a certain point with the Lord?

The enemy tries to sidetrack us and take us off our destiny. Note the distinction between Satan and individual people. The enemy comes in many different ways, and he always comes to kill, steal and destroy, and Jesus tells us he is the father of lies. Take heed. You are a son or daughter of God, and you have the authority of Christ on this earth through the name that is above every name, which every knee must bow to.

When we speak in the name of Jesus, we speak in the authority God has given us through His Son’s work here and now on the Cross and for eternity.

As priests and kings, we have the blood of Jesus, and we can apply the blood of Jesus in our lives on our day in every way.

When you encounter resistance as I do as I create my comments on Dr. Kevin’s suggested exercise for our home Bible fellowship, I always encounter resistance, and I always remind the devil that the burning lake of fire is getting hot and its time is coming.

Q 4. In Matthew 7:21–22, Jesus tells some who have done great signs and wonders to depart from Him because He never knew them. Discuss the difference between position and relationship with God.

There are rewards and the lack thereof depending on our walk with Christ.

The discussion in Matthew chapter 7, verses 21 through 22, is not a discussion of a person being cast into hell. The outer darkness is just being in a place further away from the glory of God. This is not damnation.

Countless billions have received salvation – thank God! But a positional relationship doesn’t guarantee the place you were designed to occupy in Heaven. Anything that distracts us from our calling diminishes something in our destiny. We have to be careful because we live in a hostile environment in this day and age, but we can proceed and walk in victory. I call it walking in the Kingdom. When I walk down the street, I’m walking in the Kingdom. Why? Because my Heavenly Father has created this space for me through His Son dying for my sins. I do my best to share the goodness of Christ no matter what’s going on around me.

Q 5. Why were Abraham, Moses, and David considered friends of God instead of others who were part of their lineage? What can you do to develop your friendship with God?

They were accountable – they believed God! Though Abraham may have drifted off his path and went into Egypt, David set his sights on the physical attractiveness of a beautiful woman and fell into sin – great sin, he bowed before the prophet, and God forgave him when Nathan pointed out that he was the guilty man. Just a quick side note here, David did suffer greatly due to his actions with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband, Uriah the Hittite! People don’t realize David’s suffering due to this course of action he took. But he repented and confessed!

I think this is a course we must take on this journey to the promised land. We reach our destiny but our path may not be a perfect walk. But we place and hope in God.

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.

If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.

Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.

God Bless you and keep you!

Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.

Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
