Q o What is the difference between the reverential fear of the Lord and ungodly fear?

The fear of the Lord is the reverence for Who He is. God desired fellowship, and that is why He created humanity. If you believe in God and have accepted Jesus Messiah as your Lord and Savior, then you should love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. We are to love Jesus, and we should tell Him each day that we do. We should also do the things He has called us to do for the Kingdom – exercise the talents He has given us.

Q 1. According to Proverbs 9:10, how does the fear of the Lord coincide with understanding and wisdom?

How can you achieve wisdom if you do not reverence your teacher, the one Who loves you? How will you know truth? Wisdom comes from the Lord. The Holy Spirit communes with us and speaks to us daily. His councel is sound.

Q 2. Discuss the enemy’s strategy to distract people from the fear of the Lord, even in church. How do we overcome this?

I always find people blaming God for the things the devil does. On our insurance forms, we have the term “an act of God.” We blame God for the things the devil does. God does not wish for anyone to perish. We have certain situations, like having communion in an unworthy manner which can lead to sickness and death. There are situations where God does end lives. But this is not the general situation. We have to understand this. How can you love a God who took your child’s life? God does not kill little children. You have to believe that.

Q 3. According to this study, what is the difference between head knowledge and understanding a subject?

We have to have that relationship. We have to be paying attention to what God is saying and not ignoring Him.

Q 4. In Matthew 22:37–40, Jesus states that all the law hangs on what three things? Discuss what it means to live by the “law of love.”

Q 5. How does having the fear of the Lord affect how you view other people, even those who do wrong?

God so love the world that He gave His only begotton Son. Love beyound conprehension. Love excells all. We are to share that love God has given us so freely.
