Welcome to week 32 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.

I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 32_2023

Q o Discuss what it means to have true faith.

It is very interesting That the people of the Old Testament knew faith as trust. So when Jesus said, “If you have faith…” He was saying if you have trust in the Word of God. That’s when faith becomes substance. If you trust and believe the plane you are getting on at the airport will land safely at your destination, you will get onboard. If not, you abandon ship.

I also heard Dr. Keven say that faith is the title deed. It is proof of ownership even if you do not see the object which you possess, such as the house. And we are to walk by faith and not by sight in this fallen realm.

Faith as a relationship. I never heard it described that way. But of course, we put our trust in those whom we know and have a relationship with. And God relates to us with His incredible love for us through His Holy Spirit, indwelling the believer.

Q 1) Matthew 6:33 teaches that if we seek God’s face and want to know Him, everything else we need will be added. Discuss how genuine faith works.

We must have that relationship when it comes to obeying God’s Word. He is our strength – the author and finisher of our faith. Think about that in a relationship with God. He is the author of all that there is. He knows all that there is to know about each and every one of us. He loved us while we were His enemies – not born again believers. It is up to you to put your faith in God if you have not, and if you have any doubt, you need to ask God to help you in your faith. Read His Word and stay in a relationship with the All Mighty.

Q 2) The body of Christ has gotten off track concerning faith. What is the difference between making a transaction and true heartfelt faith, according to Hebrews 11:6?

A good example: we go to a bank and put our money in a CD. We expect the interest to be what was advertised by the bank. But God works on a much higher level. If you go to work and they promise you a certain pay level, the relationship here is greater than the one at the bank because you have to obtain what you are given by interacting and producing in that job description. Consider the level of trust there is in a marriage. That is deeper than the commitment you have at your place of employment.

But with God, the relation and trust must be higher than all mentioned here. God sent His only begotten Son to this world to die in our place so that we may have eternal life in Heaven and a better life here on Earth. He washes our sin in His own Son’s precious blood so that we are made into a new creation – a new creature that can live in Heaven once we leave this earth suite.

Q 3) Are you operating in heartfelt faith that causes you to be irresistible to God or trying to convince yourself mentally?

???? You can answer this question by clicking the links titled comments on this blog.

Q 4) Hebrews 11:1 expresses that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of what is unseen. Discuss how faith is a title deed.

???? You can answer this question by clicking the links titled comments on this blog.

Q 5) Discuss how we can cultivate heartfelt trust with God and shift from head knowledge to true faith.

I think painful experiences might affect our trust in God. It should not. We have to know that God is not the author of pain and suffering but the author of life. Humanity is preserved in this current form we, the animal and plant kingdom, and the heavens (cosmos) happen to be in so that God can save us by giving each person a chance to say yes to Him and accept His only Son as their personal Savior. That is the only reason we are here.

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.

If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.

Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.

God Bless you and keep you!

Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.

Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
