Welcome to week 34 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.
Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.
I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.
Week 34_2023
Q o Discuss why we may have wrong perceptions of God. How does God want to shift our perspective of who He is?
I remember being young in the Lord and not knowing why there was such turmoil in the Christian life. We need to understand that God wants to heal us, which is why Christ has washed our sins in His blood. Only God can bring us peace. His peace is everlasting and comes to us without merit. The more we live righteously, the more peace we will have, but do not think God is punishing you for your sins. Sin brings pain because it gives the enemy access to our lives, but God came to give us life and die in our place. Do not think you deserve to suffer, and this is God’s plan for you.
On the contrary, God died in your place, washing you in His blood. He did not use Ajax. He did not use Tide. He used His own blood to wash our filthy rags. This world is fallen, but one day God will rule the earth for 1,000 years with a rod of iron, and we will be kings and priests on the Earth in a glorified body.
Q 1) When God speaks, it is often the opposite of what you are going through. Discuss what happens supernaturally when He speaks.
The enemy’s voice can come from anyone and any place you may be in. You have to remember God is for you and not against you. Watch out for those who affirm satan’s lies and seemingly speak for the Lord. Be wise. Many Christians seemingly place faith in satan’s wickedness rather than God’s power to renew our minds and write His laws upon our hearts. The enemy can easlity confuse us. God’s Word is essential to your success in the Christian life. Know the difference between words that bring death and words that bring life – know where the fruit is coming from.
James 3:9-12
9 With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. 10 Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, this should not be! 11 Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? 12 My brothers, can a fig tree grow olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.
BSB
Our feelings are subject to the fallen realm. But God’s Word is true and reality. Our faith has to be centered on God’s promises, and the words we allow to play a part in our life must be from His Word and not our emotions. We have to live our lives according to God’s Word.
Q 2) How does God encourage and strengthen us, according to Isaiah 41:10?
God’s Word is powerful. His words never fail. Who sits at the right hand of God? Jesus, the victorious warrior Who conquered death, will have all things subjected under His feet as the Church moves forward, accomplishing His Word.
Q 3) What is the difference between a person’s spirit and soul? Discuss the enemy’s strategy to hijack our soul and how to prevent him from reopening wounds.
Our spirit is ruled by God. Our soul is our will and emotions – our mind. The enemy tries to get us to live in this fallen realm by our fallen nature – our soulish being. We can prosper in both our spirit and soul. We must be spirit-ruled and know God wants us to prosper in all these areas. God does not wish our bodies or minds to be hurt. He does not want us to live in poverty.
Q 4) What is the will of God for you concerning prosperity, according to 3 John 1:3? According to this study, what should we desire for others?

Q 5) What are the three parts of people according to 2 Thessalonians 5:23–24? Discuss how God could speak kindly to us, overriding our thoughts and emotions.
Spirit, soul, and body. God brings His word to our spirit by His Holy Spirit. His words are made alive within us.
Heb 4:12
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
BSB
He guides us on our journey through His word brought to us, spoken by the Holy Spirit or the written Word.
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.
If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.
Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
God Bless you and keep you!
Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.
Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
