Welcome to week 35 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.
Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.
I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.
Week 35_2023
Q o Discuss what it means to count the cost of following Jesus.
We come to the Lord and want nothing more than to see how we can fit into His plan. There may be relationships that need to be severed due to re-location, associations that are not Biblical in any way, shape, or form, and habits we had that must be altered.
Some of us might be more in a position than others to server the Lord, but God’s calling can come in different forms for different individuals.
Q 1) According to Matthew 13:45–46, how should we discern Jesus, and what should our response be?
There is no doubt that once we come to know Christ and His love through a personal relationship with Him, we know the value of the pearl of great price. There is nothing on earth that can take its place. No person can fill the shoes that Jesus does. Nothing can compare to that incredible love we receive from Christ, whether on earth, beneath the earth, or above it.
Q 2) Discuss Dr. Zadai’s revelation that something flips inside you when you discern Jesus as the pearl of great price. What happens when you allow that shift to take place in your heart?

Q 3) According to Psalm 139:16, a book of destiny is written about each of us in Heaven. How does this revelation impact the way we invest our time and resources?
This truly blesses me. Knowing that the Lord wants to give His children good things and not hurt them in any way brings to my mind what a good Father we have.
Jeremiah 31:23
23 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “They shall again use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I bring back their captivity: ‘The Lord bless you, O home of justice, and mountain of holiness!’
NKJV
Although this is written to Judah, we can count on this as believers that Christ has brought us back from the captivity of sin and made us righteous in God’s site through the work of Jesus the Kinsman Redeemer.
Q 4) We are not only called to know the Person of Jesus, but also the inheritance that God has in us. What does the Holy Spirit want to do through us to impact our generation?
Our understanding of God’s love for us is crucial. Do not fear that God will ask too much of you. You will find yourself losing a great reward.
I bring up a few Bible verses below. Please note that in these verses, hell is not mentioned in any way. It is telling of Christians losing the rewards that they might have received based on their relationship with Christ:
Matthew 25:14-30
14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ 26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. 29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
NKJV
Q 5) Discuss the three phases of the progression of maturity according to this study. What phase do you see yourself in?

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.
If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.
Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
God Bless you and keep you!
Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.
Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
