Welcome to week 46 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.
Week 46_2023
Q Discuss the impact that humility before God can have on one’s life.
Your Comment. Please,
We can see in Scripture how God held back His judgment when men intervened in prayer and when they humbled themselves.
2 Chronicles 32: 24 – 26
24 About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill. He prayed to the LORD, who healed him and gave him a miraculous sign. 25 But Hezekiah did not respond appropriately to the kindness shown him, and he became proud. So the LORD’s anger came against him and against Judah and Jerusalem. 26 Then Hezekiah humbled himself and repented of his pride, as did the people of Jerusalem. So the LORD’s anger did not fall on them during Hezekiah’s lifetime. NLT
Humility is key to living life as a Christian in this world. You cannot move forward without humbling yourself. God is our reward and shield. He gives us His peace when we walk in obedience to His Word. He is our peace, and He is our reward.
Genesis 15: 1
1 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” NKJV
Q 1) According to this study, why don’t wicked people get judged immediately?
Your Comment. Please,
God wants us to repent of our ways. He gives us space and time to do that. He is merciful, and He is a loving God. Any retribution from the enemy that comes our way in this fallen state we deserve, but He has given us Grace instead. So, you see, God is not waiting for you to fail so He can get at you. The opposite is true. God is waiting to restore you and celebrate your return to Him, as seen in the prodigal. As we see in Job, the enemy accuses you before you have done any wrong. We have to be Christ-like when we comment about our brothers and sisters.
Q 2) Why is it important to understand that God sometimes delays both rewards and judgments?
Your Comment. Please,
?????
Q 3) Take some time to talk about the character or nature of God.
Your Comment. Please,
As we go through this study, we see humanity has free will. I know of someone who told me no one has free will. He belongs to a form of Christianity that believes God created some people to go to hell. He literally thinks this. This a a false concept. We see right in Dr. Kevin’s study that God gives us space to repent and to come to Him. Accepting Christ in itself is a form of repentance. No one can say we did not know as the scripture tells us. Agree, confess, and repent. Repeat. Then, when we see Him, we shall be as He is.
Q 4) Discuss the revelation in Ecclesiastes 8:11, which states that people’s hearts are given fully to evil when the sentence is not executed quickly.
Your Comment. Please,
Sin is habitual. It leads to greater sins – miss-deeds. Any law enforcement office can tell you that. We choose the wrong master, and sin is a harsh taskmaster requiring your life. We have laws so we can have order in society. Dr. Keven makes mention of the society we live in today. I recently visited a location that had large concrete barriers all in front of a building. Although we have laws, we have lawbreakers. The more we allow lawlessness to reign, the more lawlessness we will experience. This is feeding the evil in the hearts of people. Unfortunately, we see this in the Church. It is very said. I know the Church is a hospital for sick people, but we are ministering evil instead of good by having a sociopolitical agenda that promotes evil.
Let me state here a vision the Lord gave me. I will only say that abortion is what is leading our civilians to murder and rape. The wages of sin is death; we will taste that death here in our cities if we do not repent.
Q 5) What did Brother Hagin teach Dr. Zadai concerning Luke 13:7?
Your Comment. Please,
????
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment here, email me, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God Bless you and keep you! Respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott.
