Welcome to week 47 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 32_2023

Q Why is it important to understand the origin of the Gospel?

Your Comment. Please,

All the revelation we have of God, even little hints pointing out what we ought or ought not to do, comes from God. Men did not write based on personal insight as if nothing was given by the Spirit. It is the other way around. I would go as far as to say that even science must give God credit for His revelation and the fact that we are made in the image of God by God, as presented in Genesis. The Gospel was hidden in Christ, revealed by His life, death, burial, and resurrection, and made manifest in our hearts by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Q 1) What does it mean to be joined with Jesus as the body of Christ? How does our individualistic thinking conflict with this revelation?

Your Comment. Please,

We are joined through the One Spirit of God, Who calls us to be His witnesses throughout the world. He gives us His power and wisdom to accomplish the most important thing, the Life of Christ, indwelling humanity and saving people from hell. That is the first and foremost goal of the Cross, and it should be our goal as well. We may have different giftings and abilities, but this is one thing as disciples all of us are to do. We may agree or disagree on certain topics, but the Gospel – Good News – must be told and lived out.

Q 2) According to this study, describe how we communicate in the Spirit. How does God’s anointing allow us to hear from Him personally?

Your Comment. Please,

God created us to have fellowship with Him. Just as God spoke to Adam in the Garden, He speaks to us today. We are His children. If you quiet your heart, you will hear His voice. Speak to Him as if He is right there in the room with you because He is.

Q 3) What is the difference between the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit? Even though we are not perfect, what should our goal as believers be?

Your Comment. Please,

We have individual gifts. The fruit of the Spirit is just that. It comes from the Spirit indwelling you and springs forth from a tender heart.

Q 4) What is true holiness? What is the result of Jesus, our Consecration, setting us apart?

Your Comment. Please,

Holiness comes from God. He sets us apart, and God sees the blood of Jesus and not our sins, past, present, or future. Jesus sets us apart by the work of the Cross. It is not something we do. We run the good race, leaving behind the things of this world, but holiness is only obtained by the blood of Christ and accepting the covenant Christ made with God.

Q 5) What is included in redemption through Christ, according to this study? How can we transfer what is lacking from simply knowledge to something practical?

Your Comment. Please,

?????

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment here, email me, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God Bless you and keep you! Respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,

Scott.
