This week’s video
You are welcome if you have accidentally come across this page without landing on the homepage. The page link above takes you to the lesson transcript, where you will find accompanying scriptures and the lecture. You can click on the link below or right here: http://jesus-abc.net. Click on the fellowship link, then the video link. The video link for this blog post is also at the top of this dialogue. You can join the fellowship as a guest and even receive an email once a week by signing up on the link for Warrior Notes Tribeca. That link will open a new tab in your browser.
Welcome to week 1 of the 2024 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.
Week 1_2024
Q 1) inquire: David inquired of the Lord, asking, “Will You deliver them into my hand?” Do you ask God first before you go to battle for someone or something? Why?
Your Comment. Please,
Sometimes, I respond because I already know the answer. But how to respond and whether it is the right time to do so is really in the hands of the Lord. If I act too quickly, it will most likely be an emotional response instead of one carefully thought out. Honestly, as I am writing this response, I’m coming to the conclusion that I must prayerfully seek God’s wisdom first and foremost.
Q 2) Wait for an answer: The Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.” Do you respectfully wait on God for an answer? Why?
Your Comment. Please,
Truly, I have to depend more on God’s hand for direction than I currently do. I have to take the time to hear His voice and not lean on my understanding.
Q 3) Obey and Confront: David went to Baal Perazim and defeated them there; and he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Discuss this and how you would apply it.
Your Comment. Please,
Strangely enough, I have to say, as a new vehicle driver, I am a bit frightened of driving in busy conditions and where people may not respect the rules of the road. I feel at times, the car has more than petrol fueling the car’s movement, but an angel is behind the car’s advance.
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment here, email me, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God Bless you and keep you! Respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott.
