Full Assurance – Week 39

Full Assurance – Week 39

I can’t help but comment just on the very beginning, during Dr. Kevin Zadai’s prayer.

“Jesus leads us into all truth. And the word for truth is “Reality!”

So interesting that Jesus calls the devil a liar and the father of all lies.

Jesus tells us He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Before watching the video and before reading the transcript, I got so much to say on this topic. I think we all do. Because when you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you, you become an enemy of the fallen nature, this fallen world, and the father of all lies- the devil.

But Jesus leads us into “Reality”!

And how do we know that we are born again – the new creation Jesus spoke about? The ever-presence of the Holy Spirit indwelling us giving testimony with our spirit that we are sons and daughters of God assures us. The authority given to the children of the inheritance assures us of our salvation and the authority over the fallen realm.

And in Him, we live, move, and have our being!

And what does Satan do? Well, Satan, the name itself can be translated accuser, accuses the brethren day and night.

We are a firebrand pluck out of the fire.

Zechariah 3: 1-4:
1 Then the angel showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, with Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.

2 And the LORD said to Satan: “The LORD rebukes you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you! Is not this man a firebrand snatched from the fire?”

3 Now Joshua was dressed in filthy garments as he stood before the angel.

4 So the angel said to those standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes!” Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have removed your iniquity, and I will clothe you with splendid robes.”

Isaiah called himself a man of unclean lips. But God remedies that situation.

Isaiah 6: 1-6
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted; and the train of His robe filled the temple.

2 Above Him stood seraphim, each having six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.

3 And they were calling out to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Hosts; all the earth is full of His glory.”

4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook, and the temple was filled with smoke.

5 Then I said:
“Woe is me, for I am ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips dwelling among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Hosts.”

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, and in his hand was a glowing coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

7 And with it he touched my mouth and said:

“Now that this has touched your lips, your iniquity is removed and your sin is atoned for.”

Kevin is telling us about how important our words are, how do we speak of one another?
———-
King David says, put a guard before my lips.
Psalm 141:

1 I call upon You, O LORD; come quickly to me. Hear my voice when I call to You.

2 May my prayer be set before You like incense, my uplifted hands like the evening offering.

3 Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.

4 Do not let my heart be drawn to any evil thing or take part in works of wickedness with men who do iniquity; let me not feast on their delicacies.

We have scientific proof today that even thoughts – negative, destructive thoughts, not alone words spoken outright can harm the DNA of a human being that they’re being directed at. The person could be on the other side of the planet in an isolation tank. Nonetheless, thoughts or words were spoken against the individual still altered the DNA of that person in a negative way.

Pastor Ryan brought out very good points. If you’ve been hurt in church, you have to make sure you connect and get back with Jesus – the Holy Spirit – with God. You have to be able to settle your heart, and as Kevin has said in his other ministry programs, you are not the victim. You are a child of God and all that is written about you in heaven is that which is good which God has preordained for you.

Sure we suffer in this life, and Jesus assured us we will have tribulation in this world, but the worst situation is when we are hurt in the place we need to go and be healed. If you have been there, please consider asking God to help you forgive, move forward, and seek him more deeply. Find that intimate place with God.

I’ve come across many individuals over the past several years. I try to make conversation with people and share the gospel. People will refer to their denomination. And that could be any denomination you can think of. But the thing I look for all the time is if they are born again. And if they are, are they walking in truth and love? Now I don’t question them outright, of course. I came across a few people at a table and a local coffee shop. Bob Dylan was playing on the radio. I never recognized Bob Dylan’s voice. He was a much older man during the radio broadcast of his music of that particular song. The people at the table told me it was Bob Dylan. These people who claimed to be Christians and seem to be firm believers by their denominational affiliation immediately criticized the singer. That is after I told them that Bob Dylan had received Jesus, according to what I heard. They immediately attacked his position in Christ.

I was taken aback by this dialogue. I read the Bible through and through and know what God’s word says. How can they be so judgmental of the man they never met personally and base his salvation on where he came from as opposed to what Jesus has done? After all, do they really know him so well? I have to wonder if they understood the saving power of Jesus Christ. Mentioning it here, I think twice about their very own salvation. It could be they just have not studied the word or renewed their mind through the washing of the word, and I have to wonder if they have ever known the love of God.

Love is key. Without it, we are lost.

Thank you and God Bless,
Scott Camilleri
