Welcome to week 39 of the 2024 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. Q ) Discuss the process of how when the Word, as a substance, starts to get into people’s hearts, it changes them, and they become carriers.

The Word of God is fulfilled in and through the person of Jesus. The Word is our contract signed in blood, making us the children of God. A New Creation. A seed that is incorruptible by the things of this world. Once the Seed gets inside you, you yourself are the seed that is Justified in the sight of God. That is, once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You are no longer a slave to sin but a son or daughter of God. The things of this fallen world grow dim in a way, so you no longer need nor seek what used to draw you.
Q ) Discuss: What is the difference between mentally agreeing with something and a heartfelt agreement based on faith and how it becomes a reality?

A person might read the Word and come across the commandment not to live in fornication and adultery. We may have grown up in church and been told not to participate in behaviors that God has told us we should not partake in. But unless you have God’s Spirit in you and have come to love the Word and God, your ability to obtain from sin would be surface level. Once you live in God’s Love, once you taste and know the Lord is good and His yoke is light, you will follow God’s commands.
Q ) Discuss Hebrews 4:12 NLT: For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

The Living Word in You gives you the ability to know what is of this world and the flesh and what is of the Spirit. Living in Christ gives you the discernment one needs to obey God and live by faith and not sight. Do we judge by appearance?
Q ) Discuss: What is of the spirit and what is of the soul.
*Our soul is part of the mental and emotional realm. It’s the mind, will, and emotions, whereas the spirit is part of the realm of God that’s born-again, which you received when you accepted Jesus Christ and became a new creature. How do you live a Spirit-filled life?

Those who worship God must worship in Spirit and Truth. The Spirit of God is in us, making us one with God. We can worship and sing in the night season. We live in this world but are not of this world. The dimension we attain is through living in Christ as He lives in us where we belong. Our obedience to His world makes us aware of His enduring Love and passion and makes us compassion-filled, as Christ is for the world He created.
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
