Welcome to week 38 of the 2024 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments using the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 38_2024
Q ) What does it mean to love God?
Your Comment. Please,
One of the headings for Dr. Kevin’s discussion is “Your Faith Comes Alive with Obedience.” Let me say that we come alive with obedience. We are made alive, quickened from dead works, and a perspective of evil that runs in sin and is throughout our society. When we love God – obeying Him, we live in God’s enduring grace and peace. A thousand may fall about you, you may walk in the valley of the shadow of death, but death is swallowed up in Victory, We are more than conquerors due to God’s Love indwelling us. He is in us, and we are in Him.
Q ) Discuss when Jesus says: To love me is to obey me, and If you love me, keep my commandments.
Your Comment. Please,
Jesus knew obedience even to the death of the Cross. Jesus was one with the Father. That means the Father’s love is so great that He sacrificed His only Son for the sake of humanity. For your sake. For You. To save you, God died on the Cross. Christ’s physical body died on the Cross, and God died, too, that day. Why? To save you. God laid aside all hindrances so that He can Love you and show you that love personally. So, the least we can do is obey Jesus’ commandments. Share the Gospel. Sin no more. Love one another.
Q ) Discuss: How disobedience is lack of faith. It’s considered unbelief.
Your Comment. Please,
There is a growing period in our walk of faith. We need to mature through the washing of the Word, fellowship with one another, and, more so, fellowship with God the Holy Spirit. There may have been traumatic events that create patterns of behavior we need to be healed and move on from. This comes only through God’s love and He does love You! As you mature in the faith, you will find yourself obeying God.
We need to be diligently aware of the enemy’s strategy. He wants to distract you with all he has to get you off focus from Who God is and what He is like. The enemy wants to do so before you mature enough to know God’s true character so that you blame God and say this is God’s will (Place whatever tragedy has occurred where the word “this” is used prior to this inserted comment.) so we, I, will accept it. This will drive you away from God in some way. Now, that does not mean God has moved away from you, but psychologically, you have moved away from God. Whether you realize it or not.
If you believe God took away a loved one, for instance, your pain may drive you amiss. You may drift away from God. The enemy wants to get a response from you that will be detrimental to your faith and obedience. Stand back and pray and remind satan that the burning lake of fire is his eternal destiny. God is the Author and Finisher of our Faith, and He died so that you can live. That includes those who have passed away.
God is never the author of tragedy. Though He will work out the situation for your good, He does not orchestrate the horrible things that happen in our lives.
Q ) Discuss: How obeying God is exercising your faith.
Your Comment. Please,
We have such an opportunity to obey God and live for Him! Today, you can do something for God. Help someone struggling to get to the counter at the supermarket. Feed a hungry child. Smile presently and share the Gospel given the opportunity. These are the greatest exercises we can participate in.
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment here, email me, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God Bless you and keep you! Respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott.
