Week 33_2025

We must be honest with ourselves to the best of our ability. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us, enabling us to discern where we need to grow. The word of God is there for that purpose. It is the double-edged sword that cuts like a surgeon’s scalpel and makes a clear path for us to get through the situations that are beyond our control.

But what we can control is our interaction – our actions. Our emotions. Not letting the enemy get a hold of us means not letting our emotions and actions dictate what we truly are not meant to be or do. When you do that, I would say surrendering, at least to that extent, in that area, you are ready to receive the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

Q ) Talk about how the Holy Spirit empowers you through God’s Word and how it instructs, causes a correction, and gives you strength and direction on a Godly path.

Your Comment. Please,

It is so true how the Holy Spirit truly gives you a peace that passes understanding, and before you know it, you’re acting out the way God would have you act and say things according to the way he would like you to say things, and gives you a calm and peace even in the storm. It’s happened to me several times. I thank God for His word. Today, I will be reading the book of Luke as I traverse the metropolitan transportation system. And a calm and peace will not only be upon me, but the surrounding area will also settle down. Prayer does that too. Reading the Word is like a prayer coming from your spirit, filled with the Spirit of God.

Q ) Talk about owning it. If Israel would’ve owned it and submitted it to God, they wouldn’t have been in the desert for 40 years. If they believed that God was with them, they would’ve entered the promised land within two weeks.

Your Comment. Please,

When you’re wrong, you have to admit it. You have to at least confess to God your faults and turn yourself in, as Dr. Kevin says. And when you do so, you are submitting to God then and there. I believe that reading the Word and prayer lead us to a place where we can be humble and submit to the Father’s will. It is amazing, but as believers, we can enter into the Holy of Holies – I guess a type of promised land, the heavenly kingdom on earth. In a few moments, with prayer, Bible reading, and being submissive and humble to the Word of God.

Q ) Talk about how the Holy Spirit wants to take you through training but you might have to learn several things including suffering.

Your Comment. Please,

I see this being so true for myself currently. I’m learning to speak, talk, and interact with individuals as opposed to reacting. It is important that we discuss things logically. There may be a great deal of evil in the way people interact with us, but we must respond with wisdom and understanding and let the Holy Spirit teach us and hear the voice as He instructs us. It can be stressful to know that a great injustice is being done against you. But you must know how to speak and be a representative of Heaven.

Q ) Talk about how God wants to teach you how to handle these situations so you can help others.

Your Comment. Please,……..

The next step. Well, as you yourself ensure and gain wisdom through humility and submission, you’ll be able to see this and others and help them as long as they are open to taking advice and listening to another person. People have different personalities and hear things differently and interpret things very differently from one another. But with wisdom, discernment, and relationship, we can still help people in some way through God’s godly advice.

Q ) Share some testimonies amongst yourselves and pray for each other.

Your Comment. Please,

I think I’ve already done that. But let me mention it again, I seem to be in a place where the Holy Spirit is taking me through situations that in circumstances, so I can have a greater responsibility in ministry in the workplace and social interactions, so that I can communicate effectively from a position of truth and understanding as best as I can with the knowledge I already have. First and foremost, our priority is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world.

Lord, I want to say a prayer for everyone that reads these words, that’s part of the group here, and anyone else that may come across this web page. I want to pray and thank God for being long-suffering with us, that the Lord is long-suffering and His mercies endure forever, simply because of love – love for us. May we love you, God, may we love the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, in a way that He loves us. And that we are going to be submissive and understanding first and foremost to the Holy Spirit and then to respond with a voice, as Proverbs gives us the advice: Proverbs 15:1. It states: “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

Pray with one another and for one another, especially for those with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment, email me, or do both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission, such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are included in each weekly email I send. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but should take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God bless you and keep you! Please respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Please share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,

Scott.

  1. 1. Talk about how the Holy Spirit empowers you through God’s Word and how it instructs, causes a correction, and gives you strength and direction on a Godly path.

A year ago I was going through a very tough time in my life due to opening a lot of doors to the enemy. I had really bad panic attacks non stop for the first time that landed me in the hospital but also brought a lot of oppression (I literally felt the demonic spirits) that was the time that I also was led and comforted by the Holy Spirit and that is alo where I truly dedicated my life to living sanctifies. But what I had to do was surrender completely to the Holy Spirit and he led me step by step on everything that I had to do. I attached myself like glue to the Bible and to teachings, the Holy Spirit would comfort me through scriptures. One of them was a big promise found in Isaiah 54. That verse has led me through he process of being free but it is still the verse that has been true even now. Key thing is you must completely surrender, Holy Soirit told me what I had to do, even simple tasks like going for a walk in the sun, taking magnesium, seeing a Dr. for medication, what to eat… etc. he taught me the importance of relaxing.

    2. Talk about owning it. If Israel would’ve owned it and submitted it to God, they wouldn’t have been in the desert for 40 years. If they believed that God was with them, they would’ve entered the promised land within two weeks.

One of the things I learned through this was asking God “How can I be free from this and stay free? What do I have to learn?! Holy Spirit please teach me. I want to be an efficient learner. I want to learn quick so I can get out of this. I believe that during the time that I was suffering was one of the times that I heard God as clear as day. It was surrendering completely to the fire, it’s that thought of “well there is nothing more I can lose I’m as low to the ground as I can be so here God here is my everything, because you are so broken you just give yourself entirely to God.” Plus in suffering you are so much more receptive to learn. You know? God walked really close to me. I would picture us in these beautiful locations that I would imagine in my mind (they exist in heaven for sure) one of them is a valley of tangerine trees and we sit underneath these trees in a picnic blanket. For this to happen you must be receptive to learn. The harder your heart is the deeper your suffering will go.

Talk about how the Holy Spirit wants to take you through training but you might have to learn several things including suffering.

Listen, suffering sucks, big time. I don’t ever ever want to go back to that place. Panic attacks and depression is a big fat no no. But it was there that I literally heard and got close to God like never before. It’s was Dr. Kevin sometimes if we didn’t hear or listen to a verse I didn’t know I would get through the day. During that time ppl prophesied over me and gave me words of knowledge and encouragement. I would write everything down and re read it over and over again. I would stir up hope and faith in me. I would listen to pastor Bill Johnson and Kevin nonstop, I would listen to testimonies… I was learning so so much, like how to self encourage, how to minister to my self, how to not trust emotions, but the word of God, how to fight and stand firm. I also repented from a lot of stuff I was doing. Did a deep cleaning. I forgave my dad and got closer to my mom (my mom is a women of faith that battles for her children).

Q ) Talk about how God wants to teach you how to handle these situations so you can help others.

Im a middle school teacher, and I have a lot of students that struggle with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, you name it. I pray for their desks and anoint their desks, I also anoint them (they don’t notice it, lol) I help them by being compassionate and calm and I find a way to share my faith without getting fired (public schools). In church whenever it’s time to pray for healing over ppls minds I’m like running to them I get excited to see them get free from mental strongholds. I actually am looking for ppl to go with me to mental hospitals so that I can pray over ppls minds 🙂 my dad has bi polar manic disorder and he was also into cocaine, so I had to break that off of me and my boys. But mental disorder is something that I am very passionate about seeing ppl getting free from. Now that I went through it I know exactly how it feels and I can pray and have 7 fold anointing over me. Funny because every time I would get a panic attack I would tell the enemy “ well that is a double portion of blessings you will have to pay back.”

I need prayer because now God has been teaching me the importance of truly eating his word up like food. I’m still learning to not trust my emotions and what the word of God says. But I need prayer to learn I want to learn more and more of his word, I’m hungry for knowledge. I also never had a strong encounter with Gods love or Holy Spirit and I want one. I’ve had dreams of it, but never in real life. I also pray for me to stay free from panic and anxiety.

    1. Thank you Marina for taking the time to share your valuable lessons and commenting on Dr. Kevin’s Home Bible study. I think as believers we can all relate to the words you wrote here. Dr. Kevin has been saying there has to be a deeper hunger for truth and that we must stand by the Bible. I find myself in a similar situation. I surrender more and more to Christ and we become that living sacrafice filled with the Spirit of God empowering us to walk in truth. Have you taken any of the Warrior Notes Bible College courses? They have truly been a great help in directing my path and putting the lies of the enemy at bay. We are made in the image of God and the more we look like Him the more the enemy attepts to discourage us. Dr. Kevin’s classes have turned my life around. If you want me to suggest some, just let me know.
God bless you and we will keep you in prayer. Here is the link to the Bible College: http://www.warriornotesschool.com
