Welcome to week 34 of the 2025 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments using the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may purposely leave a brief comment so that others can comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 34_2025
I’m mentioning this here because I have conversed with people who attempt to create a better god than the one we find in scripture. I remember being told as a young student in Bible college that we cannot add to the Word of God or change the Word of God, referencing the Bible. And that is so true. Why? Because man should not have any revelation that differs from what we have already written within the Bible. We cannot change God. We cannot create a God from our reference points that we think can accommodate humanity in a way that is fair according to our comprehension. Because then we would be judging God, and we would be placing ourselves above God.
This is the dilemma. The separation between man and God since the Fall keeps us from peering into the true nature of God. The word of God, once we understand, once we have some education and what it is actually telling us, gives us a God that is infallible, that is eternal, that knows all that there is to know, and that has power and dominion over the universe. With all that said, God is not the one causing pain and suffering. I’m sure this will be addressed in the questions. This is a question asked within the transcript and message by Dr Kevin Zadai. And not the direct questions that are asked at the end of the video discussion and the transcript.
This should make us want to know him better. Your relationship with God, once you have received Jesus, should give you the ability to understand the incomprehensible love of God. That sounds like a contradiction. But love is not something we need to define by numbers or letters. We can try to express love in words, in art, but love is something that causes the heart to beat and keep us alive. And someone with no education, not alone a biblical education, receives Jesus as their Savior, knows that they know that God loves them. And all good things come from his hand. So once we have that fulfilling love and we make that the focus of our day of our life, we do not need to try to create a fairer and better God in our lack of understanding!
Okay, here is another question within the midst of the program. What does it mean that Jesus is the door and we are to go through Him to have access and to access the Father?
First, we must receive Jesus as I just mentioned, since He is the door to Heaven. We cannot have that loving relationship with God, as the Bible says we must have, as Jesus has told us we must have, unless we go through Jesus. No other God will suffice. Do not create a God that doesn’t exist to accommodate your comprehension of what would be fair. God is much fairer than you! He is much more just than you! He is much more loving than you! Do not attribute death, pain, and the suffering that you may experience to the God that created you out of love. That would be a contradiction.
Q ) Talk about how Jesus still loves you just the same, and He’s loved you before you were born.
Your Comment. Please,
God loves you, God loves your children, God loves your spouse, God loves your parents and grandparents more than you ever will. We pale in comparison to God’s love. Our love is like a spark from a finger touching a doorknob caused by static electricity, compared to the power of our sun in our solar system. His love far, far exceeds anything we can imagine and conjure up. The only reason we’re able to love is because he created us in His image. And He holds back the evil in this world through His power for the sake of our redemption and the lost finding the Christ.
Q ) How can we misrepresent Jesus Christ by our culture and religious views that aren’t Biblical? How would Jesus respond and act? How would He deal with certain situations we’re faced with
Your Comment. Please,
Many people don’t understand the God of love. I think it’s because they haven’t surrendered enough of themselves to Jesus Christ. Honestly, all I could tell you is that I am willing to surrender and not speak of my God as if he were something I can shape and change to a particular culture to accommodate my philosophy. I don’t need to get a piece of clay and turn it into a god. The God of the Bible is God.
I think we see wonderful characters and wonderful individuals by our estimation, as we should, and then find they’re from different cultural backgrounds, different religions than ours, then we deem them either as being less than us or we deem God to be less than who He is as He is represented in His Word. Then we need to change something, don’t we? Instead of changing ourselves, we attempt to alter the God we find in the Bible —the God who loves us deeply and is real —into something He is not, to accommodate our limited understanding and lack of love. They seek in their hearts to do what is right, yet often, instead of doing so, they do what is wrong, usually in a big way, without ever knowing the difference, not only in how we perceive God and His character, but also in how we interact with others and ourselves.
The fact is that God loves you more than you can ever understand or have loved. God forgives you and accepts you and is waiting for you to accept Him. God is not the author of death, pain, or suffering; instead, God authored life and life more abundantly. satan comes to kill and destroy. Understand the difference regardless of your ability to comprehend what you’re reading in our English translations of the Word of God. You will find many times in the Old Testament God being represented as a person with feelings and emotions, relenting, repenting, God becoming angry, and things along these lines. But this is there so that our limited minds can understand what God desires. God does not change. God does not get! God already knows all that there is to know. Here is a term I heard in Bible College: Anthropomorphism. I know, it just rolls off your tongue. When the Bible speaks of God’s “hand” or “eyes”, we have an anthropomorphism. When it describes God as being “angry” or experiencing “regret”, we call that Anthropopathism. I have a slight speech impediment, so I have to keep these words in my notes. I do so because I must tell people that the God we find in scripture is often not represented well.
Q ) Pray with one another and open up the opportunity for people to give their lives to Jesus if they haven’t accepted Him in their hearts.
Your Comment. Please,
Dear Lord Father God, dear Lord Jesus, dear Lord God the Holy Spirit, please forgive us when our discernment and emotions lead us astray, causing us to stray from the true love you have for us, due to our shortcomings. Please expand our wisdom and understanding of Who You are, that we may truly worship You, that we may worship You in spirit and Truth, and not begrudge You in any way in our perception of Your character, because it has not been represented properly from the pulpit down to our own thinking and assessments. May we find You as we find You in Your Word, and may You find us clinging to You, Father God, and not to our own philosophical ideas that eclipse the beauty of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who came to show us You, Father God. Please help us escape the pain and the suffering of those who went on and left us, the pain and the suffering caused by the fallen world, accidents, disease, arguments, and drugs, whatever it may be. We come against these in Jesus’s name, and that Father God, Your light will shine within us, and that we would know and be true representatives of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen
Pray with one another and for one another, especially for those with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment, email me, or do both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission, such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are included in each weekly email I send. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but should take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God bless you and keep you! Please respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Please share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott.
