Warfare in Your Region – Week 45

Warfare in Your Region – Week 45

This week’s video

One thing that struck me was what Kevin had mentioned at the start of the video’s transcript.

Warfare to me is yielding to the joy, yielding to what God is doing and saying and then manifesting that.”
~ Kevin Zadai

The Joy of the Lord is our strength! It is knowing, experiencing His love that makes us rejoice. The verse I’m quoting is from the old testament. Let’s read it here:

Nehimiah 8:9-12
9 Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who were instructing the people said to all of them, “This day is holy to the LORD your God. Do not mourn or weep.”

For all the people were weeping as they heard the words of the Law.Then Nehemiah told them, “Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send out portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

11 And the Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be still, since today is holy. Do not grieve.”

12 Then all the people began to eat and drink, to send out portions, and to rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that had been made known to them.

Deuteronomy 28:1
“Now if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God and are careful to follow all His commandments I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.

Truly the victory is ours. If during the Old Testament times of the Law people could rejoice over God’s love and grace, how much more can we under the New Covenant! If we keep our sight on Him and not on our weaknesses or the things of this world which are fading away, we have the advantage. No matter what our day-to-day choirs are or what we may be doing to earn a living. We can walk in the Joy of the Lord.

Zephaniah 3:17
17 The LORD your God is among you;

He is mighty to save.

He will rejoice over you with gladness;

He will quiet you with His love;

He will rejoice over you with singing.”

The enemy of our souls attacks us psychologically and as Kevin has mentioned many times, the demons want you to think you are the victim. They want to see if you respond to the situations they create and thoughts they induce into our thinking. I always remind satan that the Burning Lake of Fire is waiting for his reception.

We can take our thoughts captive and not let ourselves be seduced or angered for no reason whatsoever. And once again as we have read, Although we fail in so many ways, God rejoices over us as we cling to Him and seek refuge in His presence.

Well, God bless you my brothers and sisters and do not walk in failure. Keep your sights on Jesus the Auther and Finisher of our Faith!
