Holy Spirit Our Amazing Helper – Week 46

Holy Spirit Our Amazing Helper – Week 46

This week’s video

This week’s video will bring out some essential points we need to remember as the days get shorter and the nights get longer. It is the time to let that light that is within you shine even more so. That is by finding our rest in Jesus Christ.

Let’s start by answering a question right within the transcript of the video. If you accidentally found this page without landing on the homepage, you can click on the link below or right here http://jesus-abc.net. Then click on the fellowship link, then the video link. The video link for this blog post is at the top of this dialogue.

In what ways can we let the Holy Spirit be a part of our life?

The first and most obvious is to lay all hindrances aside, to know and be wise, and not succumb to the lies of the devil. Always remember you are a child of God and not of this world. Stay focussed on your calling. That calling may be to show up at your job. Because when you do, you bring God with you that is the Holy Spirit residing in you.

At times we are going to have a struggle in this world. We may not physically have to fight as Samsom did. He would have had a more excellent victory if not for failing in the flesh. But a fight is ensured in this fallen world. We have to remember that we are more than conquerors; we have the victory.

Why is it so easy for us to blame other people or God? Why would we put someone under punishment?

As Christians, we are to forgive. Of course, it’s far easier said than done. But once we have truly reached the place of forgiving someone, it is far easier to have done so than to live with unforgiveness! We have to put everything in the hands of Jesus. Do not carry vengeful anger against someone. What has happened in the past has happened, and we have to exist in the moment of our lives in peace.

Discrepancies in our lives:

I have to say unforgiveness is probably the biggest issue for most people. There seems to be much anger in this day and age. There may be sins that beset the path God has specifically planned for our lives. It wasn’t God’s plan that Samson’s eyes were burned out and then thrown into prison. Nonetheless, he is still considered a great judge in Israel, accomplishing incredible feats.

I’m going to end my blog here. I hope someone is encouraged to add their thoughts and continue the other two remaining questions by posting their comments.
