Q. How does the Lord’s plan for your life encourage you to keep on the path of truth?

God’s love is so evident. We can still find God’s love through all the distractions and turmoil – His enduring love. That is what keeps us. Though the sails may be battered, the anchor holds. My mom was a good example of this truth growing up. I could not relate to my father while he was alive all that well. But my mom was a symbol of love. That anchor never failed.

Psalm 139: 7-18

7 Where can I go to escape Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?

8 If I ascend to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle by the farthest sea,

10 even there Your hand will guide me; Your right hand will hold me fast.

11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light become night around me”—

12 even the darkness is not dark to You, but the night shines like the day, for darkness is as light to You.

13 For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14 I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.

15 My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Remember that when you think you have failed. Our success is based on God working in us and our faith in His purpose in our lives.

Q. How can you grab hold of God’s script for your life?

We need to open our Bibles and find His purposes for us there. You will find yourself doing things that come naturally to you. God may speak to you outright. You may feel a small tug on your heart pointing you in the direction of His calling on your life.

Q.What is it that God has called your group to do in your city or country that you can agree upon with each other? How about individually?

I want to submit this question to the entire group. Kevin is asking us to find a way to agree upon something we can do as a group corporately. Can we raise some funds for the Bowery Mission or Christian Appalachian Fund? can we agree corporately to give to these or some other organization? Post your comments to this blog discussion.
