One thing I had lost sight of was simple moral laws. I grew up right after the 60s rebellion and adults around me were repeating cliches like, “If it feels good, do it.” I didn’t even understand what they were saying. I was just a child. Not very good advice due to the fallen nature of the soul, the body, and the world which all would become more evident as I matured.

But when it comes to fellowship with the Holy Spirit and in consideration of how Jesus suffered, we need to accept God’s moral code and live by it. The Law is written upon our hearts as Christian but our hearts can become cold due to circumstances.

You heard me bemoan my situation on some of the blogs I posted. I was hoping someone could relate and find resolve in their life if they could relate. That was my purpose in all that. But with that said our situation could be self inflected too. Speaking for myself, I know I can go on in circles in the dry place, the desert of Sin, and wonder about being lost in my own doubt. I have to remember the enemy wants to paint such a dark picture of situations. He can really get us going in the wrong direction. But we have a road map in God’s Word. I thank God for Dr. Kevin Zadai’s messages. They have really helped me overcome bad experiences.

I never thought of the red letters as Jesus’ blood covenant with humanity. I always played a different voice in my head when I came across the red letters. I have heard the Dramatized KJV audio bible. It is not the common one we find easily online these days. So I hear Jesus’ voice depicted by the actor who played the part in that audio bible. If I find the link, I will update the blog here with it.

Jesus was a real man, living on this earth with all the passions of any male but living by the Spirit of God for God’s purpose and design. How much more do we need to due to be in line with what God has given us before the foundations of the world were made!
