Welcome to week 50 of the 2022 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. You can share your comments at the Comment link.
Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the Fellowship link on the website that leads to this blog, or click the link above. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on the blog about their thoughts.
Every little thing counts. Nothing escapes God.
Matthew 10:29-31
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?h Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
BSB
Let me add God willed that life on earth should continue after the fall and redeemed nature and humanity at the expense of His Son’s death. Jesus paid the wages of sin so He could redeem all that was lost. So He holds all things by the power of His might.
Hebrews 1:3
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
NASB1995
The word “upholds” here means to carry, to bear; Christ literally holds all of creation together by the power of his might. Even the nails that pierced His hands and the wood of the Cross those nails went into had their atomic structure held in place by His will and by His power. I would say not even a subatomic particle escapes His notice.
So, we can see how important it is to work with the talents given to us by our Master. Having fire insurance (Escaping hell.) is not enough. We should be producing some fruit. But do not forget the smallest thing we do, even a cry to God in silent prayer, gets His attention and, in a way, is an offering to Him Who loved us. Our King is not distant or far off. He is near even at the door. He wants to sit and dine with you at your dinner table. It does not matter whether you have a meager supply or a mansion. He died in your place. His love for you is infinite and eternal. Nothing can change that, and nothing will. I hope you have watched Kevin’s video and read his transcript!
Our lips – our words should be dripping with the anointed love of Jesus. When we go to share or preach, we must be anointed first.
Let’s address the items Dr. Kevin wants us to discuss:
1. Discuss how the destiny that God has for you plays a big part in what He’s trying to accomplish through you. If you don’t participate in the destiny God has for you it affects His plan, and someone else has to do it and fulfill it.
There are many things that can distract us from our calling. I believe people need to be discipled in love. Without that, we have nothing. Without God, without love, we can do nothing. God’s love and concern for me have brought me back to my calling no matter what the devil has to say about it.
2. Talk about what it means to discover and endeavor to find what your giftings are, and how it’s predetermined by God.
For me, it is obvious. Sharing the Gospel. God has given me this calling. I love to study. I took the Clifton Strenght Finders evaluation, and it emphasized that I have a love for learning.
When I was a young Christian, I did discern the Lord’s voice. That was costly in my calling. I did not know how to fit into the church I attended. I decided I would make a website for the Lord and share the incredible truths in His word. Those words were sweater than honey, and I have recaptured that beauty due to His grace and mercy. I made a website on a mini CD when Cds were in use many years ago. It would autostart when placed in a computer. It was just Isaiah 53 and some exposition on the prophecy there. I printed a Christmasy label on that mini CD and handed them out. I gave out hundreds during the Christmas season. Today the website is hundreds of pages long. I have five Bibles in five languages there, equalling over 7,000 pages. I have the salvation prayer in over a dozen languages and in several forms for distribution. God gets all the Glory.
3. Discuss how we’re a part of the generation that will finish up here on earth and how everything we do counts.
If the Lord says, “Come up hither,” I’m ready to go. Though I feel there is more growth for me now and work to do. We must also hand the baton to the next generation.
4. Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
Please remember to pray for me and all who are receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, and do include the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.
If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send out every week.
Always stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. We should not be given over to situations but, as Christians, take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
God Bless you and keep you!
