Welcome to week 1 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.
Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.
I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.
Week 01_2023
Tenacity: One thing is for sure; you do not want to play games with the truth. You should live your life to its fullest in Christ Jesus. That does not mean we walk a perfect walk or have all our ducks in a row in this life, but we take the concept of salvation seriously to demonstrate to our spouse and children that without salvation, we have death. We must believe the scriptures and what they say about Heaven and hell. do you believe Jesus is the Son of God? Do you believe He died for the lost? Do you believe He is the ONLY WAY TO GOD?
IF YOU BELIEVE ANYTHING ELSE, YOU HAVE CREATED A GOD OF YOUR MAKING.
My calling is evangelism. I feel very strongly about sharing my faith.
For those of us who have felt that calling, is it serious enough that you have told your neighbor, your children, and your family the Truth if they do not have Jesus as their Lord and Savior?
I guess you can say tenacity for me is never for a moment believe the lies of this fallen realm in all their forms.
Let’s address the items Dr. Kevin wants us to discuss:
Q. In this realm, we have time. Why is it important to know Who our God is as it relates to time? Why do we sometimes have to wait for time to pass, and what should our stance be?
Waiting sometimes brings clarity to the situation. That is always the case for me. I need to go back and ask God for clarity and find a solution which is sometimes a very simple thing to accomplish once clarity settles in – God’s response.
Q. Discuss Who God is and how knowing Him allows you to rest in faith. What does it mean to be tenacious concerning receiving His promises?
I think I expressed my faith in my initial response. Now that faith requires action and having rest in a sea of turmoil creates a calmness – a peace that passes understanding. It’s hard for me to relate the term tenacious with resting. But we have to be tenacious, I would say, to come to a place in our faith that allows us to know with hearth felt assurance, we are the children of God and not orphans. We are accepted and not the rejected.
Q. Talk about Daniel and what happened with the angels in Daniel 10. How is warfare involved with being down in this realm?
Talk about faith; Daniel did not eat the food from the king’s table. He saw Babylon ransack his kingdom. But we can assume he heard the words of Jeremiah being quoted as a young man in Jerusalem. When he read Jeremiah’s scroll stating his people will be released after their 70 years of captivity, He believed every word. He fasted and prayed till he received a response. The response he received, I believe, is the greatest prophetic announcement made in the Bible.
Q. How does the Holy Spirit help us to be tenacious in our faith?
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
Please remember to pray for me and all who receive the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.
If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.
Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. We should not be given over to situations but, as Christians, take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
God Bless you and keep you!
Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.
Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us but first make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
