Welcome to week 2 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.
Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.
I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.
Week 02_2023
Good Day Father God; Good day, God the Son; Good day, God the Holy Spirit,
And Good day to all of us who have witnessed the Truth, the Logos made flesh, indwelt with the testimony of the Living God from within!
I want to start by addressing a question posed by Dr. Kevin in the transcript of his video.
Q. What is the difference between positional and relational righteousness?
I had this in my theology class, and Kevin has mentioned this in many of his videos.
You are the righteousness of Christ not because you are sooooo good but because of what Christ has accomplished in you!
You are positionally made righteous by grace by which you have been saved. You cannot lose this Salvation. There are various views on this, but I always say if you earn your Salvation, you added something to the Cross to make it a bit better. And if you lose your Salvation, you made it a bit weaker in its purpose. No one has the ability to do that! Dr. Kevin says if you publically denounce Christ, you will lose your Salvation, and we can see how that is true.
Relational Righteousness is your walk – working out your salvation – by obeying the words in our Bible and the Holy Spirit indwelling you.
Are you a friend of God? Do you neglect to talk to your friend? Do you ignore your friend? Let’s all repent if needed, and I do, by fellowshipping with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I can feel it now. I need to be on my face before Him, asking for forgiveness for my neglectful and selfish ways.
Let’s address the items Dr. Kevin wants us to discuss:
Q 1. Being bold does not come naturally for most people. How can you receive boldness in the face of trials and persecution?
Please take the time to answer the questions below on the comment link seen throughout this blog.
Q 2. Discuss the importance of Jesus’ sacrifice granting us the boldness to access the throne of grace. What is the significance of coming to Him with faith?
Q 3. Discuss what it means to be an imitator of God as dearly loved children. How does the Holy Spirit help us to be bold?
Q 4. In Acts 4:13, the Jewish leaders recognized that Peter and John had been with Jesus. Why were they astonished? What is the significance of them being bold and having supernatural abilities regardless of their education or status? How does their testimony impact your life?
Q 5. In Joshua 1:9 the Lord commanded Joshua to be strong, to be bold, and not to be afraid. What was the reason that he could have such confidence? How does knowing that the Lord your God is with you wherever you go give you courage for your daily life?
6. Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
Please remember to pray for me and all who receive the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.
If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.
Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. We should not be given over to situations but, as Christians, take appropriate actions when the waves rage.
God Bless you and keep you!
Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.
Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us but first make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
