Welcome to week 39 of the 2026 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. Q ) Discuss the difference between the right and wrong ways of giving.

Our motivation for giving should be led by revelation, that is, God, prompting you to give to a need. Now, you can’t give to every need. Not even Fort Knox could do that. But you can give where the Lord leads your heart. It could be your time or your expertise; it could come from your finances. Sometimes it could just be a glass of water or a smile, a kind gesture, something the Lord will give, as He’s given us His only Son; joy, hope, and love for us all.
Q ) 1. Discuss what 2 Corinthians 9:7 means when it says God loves hilarious generosity.

That joy and hope should be evident in our lives, not forced. But it should be something that’s relevant to our everyday life, our coming in and our going out from moment to moment. That beautiful presence of the Lord, how He brings beauty and joy in our lives, moment by moment, should be the catalyst for our generosity in whatever form it comes in
Q ) 2. How has the manipulation of offerings caused believers to have a wrong perspective concerning tithes and offerings? Why is it important to address this?

I’ve sat in churches where there was high-pressure talk about giving. That pressure comes in different forms. It could be by having a seat of honor, or one not so honorable, which is completely against Scripture. It could be used to demean a person’s character, so the church becomes a play instead of what the Word says: not a living document that causes us to respond out of love.
I experienced all that and saw it happen to others, too. The Bible addresses this, but even within the same church where it’s addressed, you’ll still see the opposite of what the Word says on the issue. We are on this journey to be reconciled to the Lord and to one another through love. But we must be sitting in a place where we can grow.
Q ) 3. How was the Apostle Paul an example to the church, according to Acts 20:35? Why did he say that it was more blessed to give than receive?

The hilarity in your life should be the moment-by-moment presence of the Lord making all things new and beautiful. You can walk in this world with the joy of a little child and the heart of a little child, experiencing the beauty of life as it was meant to be; to be there, your heart has to be truly with the Lord on matters and issues that arise.
Q ) 4. What does God think about those who help those in need, and what does He promise to do for them?

It’s as if we are lending to the Lord Himself. And He will repay those who help the poor. Whether financially or in other ways, the Lord will bless those who help those in need.
Q ) 5. According to this study, what can we do to release the flow of finances in our lives?

Giving takes satan’s hands off our finances and our lives; it shows God and the enemy that we trust in God’s Word more than the things of this world. If the desires of this world control our finances, the world has a stronger grip on who we are and what we do. And if all you could do is give some time, some effort, some kindness, some hope, some joy, then do so. This is what God is looking for; He’s looking for works in our faith. He is looking for faith that is alive that can move mountains.

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Prayer:
Father, thank You for healing all of us right now. We’ve all been traumatized by the abuse of offerings, Lord. We know that everything is based on money in our financial world, and we realize that we must pay our bills. We have many demands to meet in this world system. Yet, Lord, You have set us free! Thank You for giving us the freedom to be unlatched from the world system through giving to You as worship and by supporting Your work on the earth. Lord, I ask that You heal us all from the trauma we’ve gone through with forced offerings and feeling guilty about not giving enough. Lord, You have given everything to us, so we receive healing right now. We ask that You help us be Spirit-led in our giving, understanding that You love us to be joyful, happy, and hilarious givers. Thank You, Lord, that everyone is receiving healing all over the earth right now, in all the gatherings. We will not back off from giving, but will do it with the right motives moving forward. We will no longer allow people to manipulate and control us anymore, in the name of Jesus, amen.
