Welcome to week 3 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.

I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 03_2023

What is Jesus’ personality like?

Can we imagine? The Man Who was whipped within inches of His life! The Man Who went to the Cross for you! The Man Who loves you so much did it all for you!

Everything in nature was created through and for Him! Yet because He loved you, He came to rescue you at such a great price.

If my steps are numbered, I better take heed! I need to fellowship with Jesus every day. He is the commander of the universe.

Let’s address the items Dr. Kevin wants us to discuss:

Q 1. God established His plans and purposes on the earth, which included making us in His image. Why is it important for you to be set apart from the world? How can you relate to Enoch and Noah in this modern day?

Truly we are His offspring. Remind me to pray, Lord, and not just do things mechanically. I always remember at the workplace; I am serving the Lord. I have to live to at least my expectations but also for the sake of the Lord and that I am not of this world and I do not surve the god of this world but the God of Heaven. His Kingdom come and His will be done to the best of my ability in and through Him. His Kingdom advances as I live and walk in Kingdom authority and humility in covenant relationship. I must not be ashamed of the Gospel, whether that is in a simple task at work or preaching the Gospel outright.

Q 2. We are triune beings, comprised of spirits, souls, and bodies. Discuss the process of separation. Why it is necessary to be so intense?

Our spirit, indwelt with the Holy Spirit, is now our guiding light that must rule over the souls (mind) and body.

Q 3. Genesis 2:1-25 gives the account of the creation of the universe. What do you observe about God’s personality in these verses?

It is amazing to read of God creating the entire universe and then earth, mankind, and all that there is in it. With all we know about the incredible size of the universe (To give you an idea, space is measured in lightyears. One lightyear is 186,462 times the number of seconds in one year. We have billions of lightyears in the vastness of space.) God placed man in a garden to nurture him and have fellowship with him due to His incredible love for humanity all the while knowing His Son will have to be sacrificed on a Cross. This is the God we serve.

Q 4. How did Jesus deal with the enemy? Why is it important for us, like Jesus, to be aggressive with him?

He destroyed the works of the enemy; we are His ambassadors. We must walk in the light as He is in the Light. God made light, and the darkness is of the devil and hell. We must always remember that:

1 John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Also, I remind those devils that they have an appointment in the burning lake of fire, their eternal home. We are in, satan is out. satan is rejected we are accepted in the beloved. Never forget that!

Q 5. 1 Peter 2:9 expresses how we have been called out of darkness into the marvelous light of God. Discuss your identity as a believer according to this scripture. Why is it important to understand that you are owned by God?
