Welcome to week 4 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.

I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Let’s address the items Dr. Kevin wants us to discuss:

Q. What is God’s strategy to implement what He wants to accomplish?

God’s word never returns void. His words never fall to the ground. What an amazing God we serve. Not only that, but the heavens declare His glory, and if you ask me, even the rocks cry out whether we shout with glory or not.

Let’s not forget the book He wrote about you before He formed you in your mother’s womb. That book speaks God’s truth about you for all eternity. It is your book. God strategized your life before you were born. A little hard to believe at first when you think of how all our lives are connected.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.

God intends to do good. We seem to have forgotten that in the Church and within our insurance policies. What we call natural disasters are called “Acts of God.” But they are not natural, nor are they acts of God. For the time being, we are in a fallen realm. That does not mean God is distant from us.

Not even a sparrow eludes God. He is very much involved in our lives, and all living creatures seek Him – they rely on Him for their next meal. And why should God not be concerned with His creation? They were all created for Him and through Him.

Psalm 104: 24-28
24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. 25 So is this great and wide sea, in which are creeping animals innumerable, both small and great beasts. 26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, which thou hast made to play therein.

27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their food in due season. 28 That which thou givest them, they gather: thou openest thy hand, they are filled with good.

It’s interesting how our free will plays in on all this. We are not robots preprogrammed by God. Yet God knows all that will take place.

Proverbs 8:14-16
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

Not even those who rule the earth can escape God. Nebuchadnezzar found that out. Helel will soon learn that God rules the Heavens and the Earth.

Q 1. According to Colossians 3:23-24, why is it important to have the revelation that we work as unto God, not people? Is God behind every situation?

We have to understand there are consequences to our actions or the lack thereof. Our role is to be ambassadors for Christ. We are not living for this world though we are in the world. That does not mean we should not prosper; it does not mean we should not pursue goals and have plans. But it does mean we must show we are the King’s kids. I like that expression. But do we live that way? It might be hard to do at times, but we are not of this world. Work as if you are serving God and not man! What a great concept and relief!

Q 2. Why is it important for believers to be led by the Spirit when it comes to receiving strategy? How does God establish His way in our lives?

Waiting on God. First and foremost, we have to be living for God. Then God will direct your steps even when it comes to hitting the keypad on your computer and finding an error in the code. It is amazing how God is in life’s smallest details.

Q 3. Regarding timing, how does the supernatural realm differ from the natural?
Why is it important to understand that God’s rewards are not instant?

Being. What can you tell me? How would you answer this question?

Q 4. Take some time to discuss what it means to stand according to Ephesians 6.
Concerning strategy, what is the purpose of the armor of God?

Stand. About face. March. We have Good News! We have that double edge sword and eternity before us! Prepare each day for the victory you are going to have. Sometimes, we are in the prayer foxholes hiding from the shrapnel. Other times we are through the enemy lines. But God’s word never fails, nor does it ever change.

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
