Welcome to week 5 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.

I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 05_2023

I’m going through Dr. Kevin’s Warrior Notes School of Ministry and have been watching the Spirit School session as a requirement of the college. It is incredible How God sets everything in our lives so that we can grow and be nurtured in His Love!

Let’s address the items Dr. Kevin wants us to discuss:

The title for his week’s message is ‘Communicating the Gospel.’

The reason why God moves in your heart is so that He can manifest through you to impact the lives of others.”
~Kevin Zadai

You have to be in a place where God’s love manifests in your heart through the Holy Spirit. Then that Gospels sets you free from the things of the world. Remember, Love; love sets you free. And God has made you for His Love.

Q. How does Jesus instruct us to communicate the gospel?

Can you answer that question? God not just saves us from hell but directs our paths. He is the light on the path we follow. You can share your sentiments on the blog’s comment section link on this page.

Speaking for myself, I need to share God’s Love! I need to share the man we call Jesus Christ. I want people to find Christ, be indwelt by the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, and be filled with the peace God has so willingly provided.

Q 1. Just like King David’s heart overflowed with a specific theme, according to Psalm 45:1, God has placed gifts inside you. What gift has God placed in you that needs to be communicated to others?

For myself, it has been, first and foremost, to share God Himself with others. To love those around me. That road has not been easy; we live in a perverted society. Being kind to others may generate all the perversions our society has been exposed to in the mind of those you come in contact with. Walking down the street with a smile can upset Pharisees and secularists. I didn’t know how to fit in at first. With church attendees and others slandering me, my sin, which needed to be exposed and repented, and God’s Holy Spirit telling me to preach, I was not too sure whom I could trust and learn from. Dr. Keven and several other ministers helped me get focused and on track. All the while, the medicine is God’s Love. God’s love sets the captives free. That is not just a cliche! If you are ensnared by slander, trauma from your past, and of course, your sins, then you need God’s love! Remember, it is the devil’s work regardless of where it comes from. Satan means slanderer. He instructed us to love one another with His love. Love is the answer, like that old song from the 70s.

You could be a mom who loves your children. That is a calling and a blessing beyond what words can describe. You can share in the comment section if you like. Do you teach – any topic? Do you give offerings? Do you preach? All of these are sharing God’s love – The Gospel!

I befriended a man taking photos of seagulls on the beach. Liking photography myself, I started a conversation with the man. He told me at the end of the conversation that he was so glad I spoke with him. He said that he is scared to talk to people due to all the turmoil in our society. He was also a Christian, which I found out when I presented him with the Gospel. But the Gospel is already inside of us! We have to walk in it. He was already receiving God’s light as I spoke to him. Then I was able to point him to that source of light.

Q 2. When God moves on your heart, what should happen with the revelation that He gives you? How has He called you to impact those around you?

For me, study to show yourself approved. Share that knowledge!

Q 3. Discuss the importance of testifying or communicating what Jesus has done in your life to others. What is the essence or the spirit of prophecy?

You tell me. Comment.

Q 4. God placed you where you are for a reason. How are we called to manifest the kingdom of God? Discuss how intercession impacts your communication.

It is wonderful! Having God’s Holy Spirit in you – The Hope of Glory – allows you to walk on scorpions and snakes. They come at you knowing you pose them a danger. You have the shield of faith and light this world can never douse. Enjoy the walk!

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Please remember to pray for me and all who receive the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.

If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.

Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. We should not be given over to situations but, as Christians, take appropriate actions when the waves rage.

God Bless you and keep you!

Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.

Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us but first make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,
Scott

  1. I would like to say a couple of things. One, when we speak to others, know that they are watching us. They feel that we are living to a higher example, which we are. So, when you do not feel that you can share the good news, ask God for help. But remember that when you speak you are speaking for Him. We must be able to keep ourselves built up in the word and His presence so that we can be a light for him. We must be careful when things are not going well for us in our own lives, to not let others see our pain, frustration or struggle. I share my testimony when it is appropriate with others as the Lord leads, but I am very careful to show others my pain and anguish. The Lord wants us to be a light for others and to provoke jealousy in them. Sounds harsh in many ways, but when things are chaotic in this world, and we are still showing joy, love, compassion and grace, it is a sign that we are indeed not only apart from the things of this world, but standing firm and not allowing these things to steal our joy. We can show love, empathy and compassion for others by listening. But it is our reaction to the world that they will notice. We want people that are lost to ask themselves. “Why is she so happy? Or why doesn’t this effect her??” This is an open door to share Jesus. It is not always easy to listen to others, as this is the one thing that I struggle with daily. I have to ask the Lord for more patience in this regard. But if I can listen long enough to someone, then I can turn the situation around and help to show them that their is indeed a way out. People just want to be loved, but more importantly they want to be heard. So, as I always struggle to listen to sob stories and trials and disappointments, I have to remind myself that I too was there, not understanding how to go forward. So my last statement is this. Take the time to listen, then give them some hope by sharing how much God loves them. How much God can do for them and maybe a little story on how He changed your own life.

    1. I have to agree; I’m learning we must speak of the goodness of God. Regardless of what takes place and what experience. The Lord has been showing me this. My heart leans toward those who suffer in the church itself. But my words must be salted with God’s intentions and not my pain. We know God does not give us scorpions for breakfast. So I must speak of the Goodness of God and His will for us. Amen, and thank you, Rita Beitz, for sharing.
